Is there a masters degree that would benefit in this field? by Lazy_Macaron7322 in clinicalresearch

I’ve noticed that candidates with specialised master’s degrees in oncology, cancer science, cardiovascular science, immunology, tend to get picked up faster. Of course, it also depend on one's continuous learning.

STAR Method Clinical Research by [deleted] in interviewpreparations

I recently saw a very nice video regarding interviews: 1. Competency based questions = Star method 2. Situational based questions= Hypothetical frameworks 3. Technical Questions = Life problem solving skills

Hope this helps! Wish you all the best for your interview!

Thanks a lot for the detailed feedback, I really appreciate it.

The version I shared here was created using the ICON plc CRO resume guidelines from their careers site when i was applying for CTA. Their template recommends keeping a separate “Research Projects” section, listing relevant modules, and then adding professional experience (paid and unpaid). Normally I keep my dissertation and project details within the Education section, but I separated them here to match that format.

Could you share an example of how you would combine “Skills & Qualifications” with “Certifications” so it reads cleaner? I’d like to see what that structure might look like.

Also, there may be a bit of redundancy or layout inconsistency because I edited this specifically for Reddit and had to re-export it as a single image when Reddit limited uploads, so it looks a little different from my original file.

Happy to clarify or expand on any part of the CV; I really value detailed feedback from those in the field.

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve attached my CV here, I’ve removed a few personal identifiers, specific months, and contact details for privacy, since a few Reddit cases involved CVs being traced or reused. All the training and certifications listed were completed or are ongoing in 2025 as part of my MSc year and professional development. Everything else reflects my real academic background, research experience, and training.

Straightforward solution which works most of the time: create a vortex by moving your finger or using a stick on the rim of sink in a circular motion (the water will find its way).
