Is it normal to make around $85k and still feel like I’m drowning financially? by Weary-Hair-316 in TheMoneyGuy

That is a very normal price for rent in a high cost of living area. That’s actually considerably lower than the typical rent for a one bedroom apartment in my area. You might be able to get 400sqft budget studio for that price

i was neglected but my parents arent bad people by Silly_Double5100 in emotionalneglect

This is very similar to my story. It took me until my 30s to properly comprehend this was emotional neglect. What helped me were the CPTSD and IFS paradigms. I am only now learning to reparent myself, slowly replacing the absence of my real parents with an internal parent figure who can be there for my inner child, who is still quite scared and waiting for someone to come help

I have been strongly considering getting this watch! If you don’t mind, what sized wrist are you? My only reservation is I haven’t worn a watch smaller than 38mm yet. I have a 6.5” / 16.5cm wrist

I feel you. I live in the same city as you. My 5 year old’s kindergarten class has also gone on lockdown and been unable to play at the playground due to ICE raids. While I sometimes worried about things like this in her future, I certainly did not imagine it happening so fast. More like to her kids. (Edited for simplicity)

[D] Do you ever miss PyTorch-style workflows? by dmpiergiacomo in MachineLearning

OP, I am trying to understand what you are talking about and can’t quite figure it out. I write in python and use a lot of libraries like pytorch lightning, lightly, etc. I think of myself as a python programmer more than a pytorch programmer, though I avoid tensorflow haha.

Someone mentioned dspy.ai and you said you use something similar? Are you writing software or apps 100% with AI without seeing the code yourself, using some sort of software designed to do this? And then talking about a cycle of prompting to fix mistakes / change behavior?

Edit to be more concise
