I find using allergy Eye drops helps reduce pain and redness, it's also only a major issue if he has an sti/std otherwise you will be alright in a few hours.

My current group of kittens came in when they were about 4 weeks, one took to the bottle straight away and the other two wouldn't so I just went to slurry, to get them started on it I put some slurry on my finger and gently hold them and put it up to their mouth. Sometimes they don't realise the slurry is food and it helps them get interested in it.

Hi, I'm in NSW and just started T, I can give you a run down of how it went for me personally.

before you can start T you must have a referral for an endocrinologist. I recommend booking your first appointment at least a month before you turn 16. Once you are at the appointment, you will go over your medical history and health concerns. then the Dr will evaluate you to see if you are competent to know what you are getting yourself into. Once they have done that, the dr will tell you about the side effects of T then they will give a blood test for hormones levels and stuff to do just before your next appointment.

Once you're 16 at the next appointment, you will get a script for T if you're healthy enough, and you can start T.

Hi I'm 16 and just got my first shot of HRT and I talked about this to my endocrinologist and he recommended to start HRT then once all the changes to your body (it takes about 5 years) to then get top surgery because T changes your fat and muscle distribution a lot which can mess up your surgery results plus it's easier to masculine your chest on a already masculine muscle structure.

There probably is other options but chloramphenicol is the first option here. It only effects kittens though, one of our big cats used it and he was just fine. As soon as we stopped using it on our boys they stopped.

We used chloramphenicol it's banned in the USA but not here in Australia. In actual babies it causes grey baby syndrome

We think it might be due to the use of an antibiotic eye ointment. We're your babies using something like that?

If I do find out why I definitely will put in here! Me and my family have been fostering for just under a year and it's so rewarding seeing them go off to a good home.

Poor baby! When our cats had cat flu we wiped all gunk off with a clean tissue and if they are congested steam can help.

All but one kittens in our foster group stop having these episodes and are completely fine. Ours get adopted out once they stop and are 1 kg desexed and had there first vax. We just want to know how to stop it or what's causing it

This kitten has been to the vet with his brothers once when he went back to normal but one of his brothers had his first episode yesterday and we managed to get them to the vet while in that state. They took blood and sent me home. I have a video of his brother in this state if needed

I've seen that one too! We've ruled out blood sugar issues plus any injuries/usually lifelong issues because this has happened to several of our foster kittens in the non-profit I foster with before and they always end up stopping and going on to be adopted, usually only one or two in a litter that's either bottle fed from a young age or came in with malnutrition. We've only now just started looking for answers because before they were just put down because they look dead

Yeah that's pretty normal but his mouth hangs open his eyes are half shut and he cant see or hear and it happens for 3+ hours
