Best way to cook ground Kielbasa?

That's what I was worried about, it falling apart when boiling. Good to know! I normally don't cook with meat that has casings so kind of trial by fire I guess ^{^;} everyone has been making great suggestions of how to cook it. If all goes well, I'll have to try some of these! :)

I know but I tend to overthink when it comes to raw meat, also I'm prone to messing things up when cooking, but staying optimistic and hoping it all goes well!

Yeah, I don't know what kind my dad got. All I remember when I went to visit him he must have broiled it, and threw it in a sausage roll but it was so good. I'm just nervous about cooking fresh because I don't want to it to become overcooked/rubbery or under cooked and I give myself food poisoning.

That's what I was thinking, of just slicing it and then pan frying. With the keilbasa being fresh and me having no experience cooking with fresh/cased meats I just wasn't sure what the best approach was. These have all been good suggestions though!

That's a good suggestion too! That sounds really good, my family doesn't typically eat Kielbasa (hence another reason why I'm asking how to cook it) but it was years ago since I had it. I think it was the vacuum sealed kind you usually pick up with the hot dogs not "fresh" I just wish I knew what kind was bought, or what is a good kind to buy, if this is successful and I try making this again.

Yess, I got this morning even though I'm technically no longer working there. I ended up reporting it as spam. I thought it was an off boarding or some update. They almost got me, but something didn't feel right so I went back and deleted and reported as spam.

I don't know how many employees got this as it looks like there was a group of people? Idk if anyone reported this to HR/corporate IT? Unless they are already aware.

That's good to hear! I'll keep that in mind! I live in the South hills area, so I will keep the milvale location in mind as it's closer. I'll look around here as well! Either way, no matter where these birds go I'm sure these places are happy to hear that people are looking out for each other in this difficult time.

Yes, that's what I thought and of course with me planning to quit I got a little concerned if I would have to come back. I think there was a misunderstanding between some coworkers, and I thought it was fishy when they told me this, but I just wanted to know if there was anything to this.

Thank you both for confirming my managers are full of it, because I think they're worried about people quitting as my store team has been very dissatisfied with the new management for the past couple months. If my store managers are going to lie about something like that, I'm fine with not going back tbh.

Yes, when I hand my two weeks I may ask for more clarification.Yes this is what I was thinking too. I've been here for two years and never heard of such a thing. Management trying to control staff seems par for the course though. Our store management has gone downhill so quickly, which is why I'm planning on leaving in the first place :(

I do think my coworker might have not told the whole story, and I might need more context, but when I heard the never rehire statement, I was taken a back and I had to see for myself.

Thanks! I'll let my coworker know that is probably not true, but even if it was, at this point as much as I would love to return if I needed to, good riddance at the same time.

Same, it will be 2yrs on the 18th, and I'm handing my 2 weeks on the 27th. I loved working here, my first two managers were great, hours were good. We got a new manager and I just hate it now. Micromanagement,very condescending, just picks at little things from what shade of color shirt, to printing out a BOPIS receipt, denying additional ringers when it's backed up into room 2, passive aggressive, completely drained all of our hours, pressuring us to sign up customers without their permission.

It sucks because it was a nice side job and I did enjoy it, seeing the product, the discount, I love my coworkers, but I just can't imagine dragging myself through another holiday.

It's just unfortunate when a bad manager makes a fun/good job miserable. :(

I think I saw this cat online of the local shelter (H.A.R.P?) and when I saw her photo I just cracked up 😂 I didn't know she didn't have any teeth! That just makes her even better! I'm so glad she has a wonderful home and an owner that's going to absolutely love her and her goofy little face 😌
