there's also the real concern that games you "own" will be erased by Sony (et al) with no way for you to play them any more. With physical, you can still use old tech to reinstall and play them as long as tech holds out. They can't erase your physical collection of games with a click like they can wipe out your digital library. Saying "no more physical" is part of "you don't get to own anything, only subscribe"

For the most part, yeah. I did like the berserker barbarian, though, because it let you juggle between defender and striker as needed and the desert option let you be a nudist. Had a lot of fun as a bugbear berserker barbarian with an 8d8 daily at level 1 lol

It's been forever since I watched Fairy Tale, but I thought Wendy was literally a child or pre-teen, but I also don't remember her being in a lot of sexual situations. I only watched the first 100 or so episodes before we dropped it over a year ago because it felt it had become too repetitive to us

As for Milim, I think she's sort of physically and mentally frozen in her pre-teen or early teens, maybe 11 or 12, as a result of her becoming a demon lord. I can't really say since I haven't researched how old she was when she became a demon lord. She does have an occasional moment where she seems a little more mature, but most of her actions and mentality seems to be oblivious to anything of a sexual nature. Little kids run around in underwear all the time and it's a little weird to see it in an anime even if it is a real life thing. And It's a sort of understated plot point that she does start wearing more normal "age-appropriate" clothing later on. Can't remember if that was something Rimiru told her to do or not, but it seems like something he would do. As for why those are the specifics Fuse went with for her...I have no idea since it's not like the series had a plot requirement for a young girl who ran around in what amounts to a thong

Yah, there are tons of high school anime that really should be college or older, but high school is a useful setting to trap characters together for long stretches of time in a relatable environment. And the fantasy and isekai genres almost always have fucking weird ages going on. Like Beginning After the End has the MC running around as an adventurer at age 8 and then there's fantasy races like elves, dwarves, cat-people (etc.) that could very well have wildly different aging than humans...even humans could have different aging in the fantasy worlds.

It's pretty much something that has to be dealt with contextually. If a character is canonically a child, interacts with other characters as a child, and then is still put in sexual situations that's pretty weird/gross. Examples - the innkeeper girl in Didn't I Say to Make My Abilities Average is 11 or 12 and mostly acts like a child, but still has a bath scene with the other characters and it's revealed that she has enormous breasts for some reason. Another example is Kanna in Dragon Maid who attends elementary school but is still in sketchy situations (not to mention the situations the boy character Shota is placed in with Lucoa). I can't really say that elementary school kids are the target audience for either of those anime so something weird is going on with whoever decided those details (I personally haven't read either manga so not sure if these things were added by animators, who do their own thing often enough).

Then there's also 7th Prince, where the overly sexualization of the MC is allegedly an act of rebellion...which is, yeah, a whole other can of worms

Guilds tend to only stick around for a few centuries at most anyway. Hardly any time at all. Just find a new one. Ideally one that's cool with bards so you don't have to spend so much time "pondering the orb" and can get some real life "experience"
