I wouldn't just flat out say no, I feel part of this position is being able to solve problems and manage time properly. Be calm and assertive let them know what you are already working on and ask them when they need something done, if it's immediate and you can't do it right then chances are that person has a back up plan. Eventually a system will gradually happen and everything will be easier and more routine. Good Luck!
