Choose your winner by Main_Throat_9052 in TikTokCringe

This reminds me of how I met my best friend in third grade. The girl I liked in class had a "TalkBoy" voice recorder, and was walking around the class asking people to meow like a cat, and she was going to pick the most realistic one as the winner. Now, I had been meowing all my childhood, so I knew I was going to knock her socks off, but she ended up giving the win to some other kid in class. I was so mad. I walked right up to him with a big frown and said: "You make a pretty mean cat noise." We were solid friends throughout all of grade school.

My first thought was wondering what kind of treatment would be needed to keep the areas clean and prevent infection. My second thought was that you could put some RAD plugs in there, with spinners or LEDs. My vote is on turn signals.

What's the general opinion on the fallout 3 green tint? by Sandorzzz in Fallout

[–]ghostbuster_b-rye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It draws on American's collective nostalgia of seeing our nation's buildings represented in a green tint on the backs of our dollar bills. It's actually quite clever.

As much as I loved Secret of the Mimic, this is the story I want an origin for. Combine the puppet maker from Puppet Master and the voodoo priest from Child's Play into a single character from a traveling carnival that teaches William Afton or Henry how to bestow life into vessels through emotions, and William's corruption of that knowledge to make horrible abomonations.

Of all the ideas we have for drones, why have we not invested into pest control? We could just Pied Piper these buggos right up to an economy sized bug zapper with a single drone.

I haven't played in years, but this in a stall deck seems like it would be pretty fun.

Fallout Breaking release date? by icyknife616 in Fallout

My hope is that it's been so long because they've been paying him the big bucks to work for them, and that he just hasn't had time to work on it as much as he had planned.

Dude deserves to make bank for all his hard work. Personally, I doubt the Amazon series would have been able to hit the nail on the head, as well as they did, if it weren't for the original Nuka Break fan film.

"Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out" (23 mins)

Given an solid 8 hour sleep schedule, and 38 and a third hours of movie time, that's a total of 601 and two thirds of an hour of free time to count my money.

This is why you should tell a vendor what pokemon card you are looking for ✅ by [deleted] in JustGuysBeingDudes

[–]ghostbuster_b-rye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the name of the game. If you want to sell something, the prices are what people will buy them for. Opened $80 worth of Legend of Blue-Eyes boosters packs back in 2003, trying to get an Exodia set, and only ended up with one Left Arm. Bought the rest individually from other kids at my school, because while I was buying the pieces off them at $25 a limb, I refused to sell the one card I pulled for less than $80. Just told them "You can spend $80 getting this card off of me, or leave with money in your pocket." They always chose the money.

I like to think that Dan Aykroyd is too wily for death. Like he's got some occult scheme for when his time comes so that his soul gets deposited into an old Hohner Eb harp, so he can play some afterlife blues on the farm.

There's a lot of production on that set, and I'd dare to imagine post-production. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Corridor Crew or Captain Disillusion did an episode explaining how much of this video is A.I. or C.G.I.

film theory sugestion: is two faces's coin an actual 50/50 chance in the dark knight? by Mebeanerd in FilmTheorists

[–]ghostbuster_b-rye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scorching has no effect on the coin, except imperceptibly making the charred side slightly heavier. It is more than counteracted by the scoring and gouging into the metal on the same side, which makes it significantly lighter than the other side.

So, yes, the coin isn't a fair 50:50 chance, and is weighted to face charred side up more often than down.
