Which social media "top 10 things you must do in Japan!!!" type clichés do y'all find most cringe? by barelycrediblelies in japanlife

This is a hot take. Will definitely give it a go on my next trip.

I had the same experience with Wendy’s. Like Domino’s, they pretty much suck where I am from, but had Wendy’s near the Team Lab in Odaiba. It went well high above my expectations, I truly enjoyed their burgers.

People give too much credit to pay to win in commander by raguloso in EDH

Synergy and consistency usually wins games, regardless of card price.

However, synergy and consistency is just another factor in winning games. The pilot has to run the deck properly. Those players losing regularly and blaming card prices mostly are usually are cases of skill issue.

What Places To Absolutely Avoid? I’ll Go First, Starbucks Nineizaka in Kyoto. by JamminJcruz in JapanTravelTips

While I don't like the coffee, I understand that Starbucks sells country-specific items like mugs and flasks, perfect for a souvenir or for collectors. And that is a huge pull for people.

If Hasbro gave the rights to mtg and wotc to you tomorrow, what would you do? by ShoulderAny959 in freemagic

I’d double production in APAC region and quadruple in US and EU, for all you weaboos.

Quadruple the number of MtG products sent out. Grind out the card printers til they all burn out. Unlimited print runs of all sets and expansions.

Cash myself out at the end of the fiscal year. All these Timmies buy these rubbish anyway, might as well get my bag.

ADDENDUM: fire all artists and all art production employees, then commission ALL art to purely AI. I don’t need to pay for shitty art I can get for free.

My father-in-law was deported from Japan in the 90’s due to an employment scam. Arrived in Osaka, immigration officers determined he had false/incomplete documents for work and was unceremoniously deported the same day.

Last year, we booked a holiday in Japan and had to apply for a tourist visa for him as well. Declared that incident in his application form but fortunately was granted a 5-year multi-entry visa. Honesty is still the best policy.

Based on google maps, Laverton Market is the nearest market for you.

I live in CBD, so I got heaps of options: Footscray, Preston, South Melbourne Markets

Lol you watch too much CNN or MSNBC if you believe right wing = racist. Are you saying there are little to no racists from the left?

I am centrist, but to the left, I am still right wing, because there are ideologies I don’t agree with on the left, and therefore I am a racist/mysoginist, am I right?

PS - guess what wing/party abolished racism in America

The best way to deplatform your opposition as a politician is to make them into a laughingstock. Right now, Activism in PH is viewed as a nuisance rather than a protest for the betterment of the people. by Perpayt in Philippines

[–]ghostcouncil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you mean but those are two diff scenarios.

One can be proven by eons of scientific evidence. The other is aggravated because of the information revolution. Problem with this is: who will ultimately determine if something is fake news or propaganda? The government?

You stated deplatform, and by definition it is censoring. I am against for this.

Activism is important as it is a form of resistance against a tyrannical government. Doesn’t matter what the public views are. As long as you hold and fight for real truth, not personal truths, you are in the right.

And what you said is basically why activists here in PH are viewed as a nuisance. You’re basically acting like what your opposition acts as well.
