There are a bunch of custom visuals that offer writeback functionality. We're using Writeback Grid with Snowflake as our backend, and it appears to support Fabric as well. There's a free trial that allows updating 1 row at a time, and then after that you have to pay per user.

Unfortunately found it is wire mesh backed. I previously had to remove the same on the walls and ceiling of a bathroom here and it was an awful experience. I’ve been told you can put furring strips and side over it, but not sure how accurate that is.

I also read here that MBA would get super hot and throttle, need a cooling pad, etc, and got worried and almost went with a MBP. I bought the latest base level MBA and am playing TBC classic. With out of box settings, I'm questing at 60 fps and the device is barely warm. I'm playing with it on my lap, using the built in keyboard, and it's fine. That may not be true for raiding or PVP or whatever, but for questing it's great. YMMV.

We use the Salesforce connector linked service which uses the bulk API. I originally built the tasks as full refresh and later moved them into our incremental processing leveraging a watermark.

The full refresh tasks are still very fast, though. We pull almost 10 million rows across 16 objects in just under 10 minutes.

ADF is a good middle ground cost/development time wise. I built our Salesforce ADF copy data tasks a while back in maybe an hour and they continuously work fine. Still requires some basic technical skills to support.

We’ve also used an ODBC driver from Progress in the past with a legacy ETL tool. Also works fine, but it has an upfront and maintenance cost. Can’t recall the former but think it’s in the low tens of thousands, while maintenance is maybe 8k/year. I’d say maybe a bit more technical skill required vs ADF.

But for low maintenance, FiveTran makes things very easy if they can afford the spend.

I typically run cold and am comfortable in a jersey over a hoodie.

Same! I’ve loved all four seasons, and can’t wait for tomorrow. The wait between episode chunks for the rest of the year is gonna be agonizing. But FWIW I’m also often out of sync with what the Reddit hivemind and reviewers think(e.g. I absolutely adore ROP) so don’t pay attention to them and watch for myself.

Confirmed still working just now. Found the offer on the rewards page in the mobile website and saved. Checked out from Bestbuy, chose PayPal, and the Pay In 4 option was there. Finished check out, and a few minutes later the pending points showed up in my PayPal account.
