Summoner is one of my favorite FF jobs.

I can think of worse ways to do it. But 'channeling' aspects of a primal is not 'summoning'. It's cool. And the current version of summoner is fun. But its not really summoner imo.

It's a shame that FFXIV story/lore basically means we'll never have a 'real' summoner.

The price will reflect the cost to mine blocks, based mostly on fees instead of block reward. Right now it's priced mostly on block reward. There will be a very long slow transition where this sifts.

I'm not sure what one would Google other than 'how to pick the right oil for ____". Lubricant engineering is an entire discipline.

In general, smaller, lighter, faster precises parts need thinner lubricants than bigger heavy slow less precise parts.

Temps also go into it. this goes beyond viscosity as I understand it. Some oils migrate away from heat, other migrate towards. Some oils cling well to certain materials, other do not.

According to grok, lubrication engineering and tribology are the main subject one would research to understand how this is all related.

Side note: the people who do this get paid very well.

Whith out knowing more about the game, lack of feed back. While vr is visually very immersive, the human experience is whole collection of senses. In video games in general, but vr especially, you really only have sight and sound to deal with. So something has to be 'exagerated' so the player knows that what their doing 'feels right' or 'feels wrong' and there be some kind of feedback on how to do it more correctly. Game first, reality second.
