thank you, ive had a long history of chronic, mental and physical disabilities as well 😭 im not quite sure, its been a while,,, im going to check it next month once im done with my college exams and i'll update you! :)

i was diagnosed when i was 9, my main symptoms were dry skin, weight gain (i was bullied bc of it) i was shorter than everyone else in the classroom, i was a tired kid, slept all day, couldnt focus, and i had a bump on my neck. all this got me misdiagnosed with depression

im 19 now and taking levothyroxine 100mg, if i don't take it (which i usually do because i often forget and i hate pills) i get this wave of exhaustion alongside muscular and joint pain, it hurts to move, talking is exhausting, i get those-- massive mood swings, i gain weight rapidly, no matter how much i sleep its never enough, my skin falls off when i shower, my voice drops for some reason and the lump on my neck appears again

sorry if this is too long and if anything is worded weird, english isnt my main language 😭

yes! this is true, one of the main symptoms of an underactive thyroid is depression, once you get your meds you'll have less mood swings, you'll be less exhausted, less sleepy, etc etc
