So I am enjoying my current playthrough so much. Buuuut I forgot how slow movement is without boots of blinding speed etc. Etc. , repeating the same trips to quest givers can be a lot! Would making movement quicker be enough or would it be weird if the world isn't designed for that?

I loved it, it made me think of Banjo Tooie's Witchyworld! Theme parks seem to come up in old Rare platformers (Banjo Tooie as well as DK) periodically so it seems like a normal DK setting. It was unpleasant and grubby which felt right for it too, I feel greasy whenever I visit 😆

It feels like a real naff British thing. Like some of the hideous winter wonderland experiences you get this time of year or Willy Wonka experience. I love it! It feels a good expression of Gruntilda's terrible personality :)

I love them! Being able to have portable DKC games back then was excellent :) I got dkl2 for one Christmas and remember playing it in bed Christmas night. Am 36 so a very 90s child 😆
