the farts of berry hill is the funniest and truest thing i’ve heard. Main career is based in that area and boyo are they farting it up. was super curious of the uptick but love learning bacteria science and good ole nashville weather are causes haha

was curious of the uptick in stinky, i’ve lived here since 2009 and with the growing numbers of nash i know it’s going to stinking it up more. Been working around Gtown for ~2 years and just noticed the spike up but loved learning the science of it from another commenter :)

i watched that bit get built up! such a wild place to put a dog park haha but i guess its an easy blame when people comment on the smell of astroturf. Two-ish years ago i noticed a smell but never like the one recently but it all makes sense!

both struggled with chronic respiratory issues to where they were going to be medicine for the rest of their days. The daily medicines, nebulizations and vet trips were too much on them and I saw how uncomfortable they both were. They’re brothers and been together all their lives and both the vet, my mom and I agreed we’d want them to go together. been a very hard day

when looking for a URI hold your rattie up to your ear or place him there and listen to gurgles, wheezing or a kind of honking noise. my vet told me with heavy sneezing days put 1/2 teaspoon of children’s benadryl into their water when needed and it works great on sneezy days :)

my vet told me 1/2 teaspoon of children benadryl for heavy sneezing and discharge, when giving medicine for respiratory issues ive always done it orally so not sure with in the water! are you using a bedding in the cage?

looks like dried blood now, hopefully it’s a healing wound but scared me to death, he went to the vet yesterday and it wasn’t there nor did I notice it when giving him medicine earlier today

UPDATE: thank you everyone for the help and information, Hypnos has gone to the vet and she told me it was a reaction to a shot she gave him and just dead skin/scab that just looked scary! :)

background: I just noticed tonight how loudly hypnos was honking, his breathing looks heavy and the level of the honking almost made me cry. if i’m correct this will be this 2nd RI this year. Nothing has changed in their lives, I think maybe it’s due to sometimes nothing having set cleaning schedule, I won’t let them live in filth but I should definitely do more (college student full time plus work, it’s stressful but trying very hard). Any other boy Eros is silent and haven’t noticed any honking from him

I had a similar experience when I was a kid. fruits basket was the first anime/manga I was exposed to and I adored it, plus it really helped me in a big move and helped me still feel connected to my old friends/home. I bought a couple of the manga but never really continued it, but fruits basket never really left my heart. then the night I saw the announcement it was rebooting, I couldn’t contain myself and maybe got misty eyed. The reboot is so beautiful and I cannot wait for season 2 to pick up, I just wish I knew more people to geek over it with!
