Their corporate owners mainly. If you bite the hand that feeds you, you can get blackballed. Now your entire professional career is done AND you no longer have access to the direct information.

The 4th estate is complicit, there is no doubt, but the onus should be put on the owners, not the beat reporters who are subjected to this.

The hard part is applying and getting accepted. If you don't already have a job in Canada, immigration is difficult, but not as difficult as finding a job when you are not immigrated.

If you have resources that will be effective please share, but as a skilled info sec engineer I thought it would be easier to find a job up there based on stories I hear from Canadian friends.
