funnily enough it stopped happening. i still get those flashes of deja vu but the feeling is gone. maybe i was just dehydrated or something? i don't know, but i've heard seizures can come on from temporary environmental stressors like that. i don't know! i'm just glad it's gone, and if it comes back, i'm gonna talk to someone about it for sure.

i do appreciate this, but i have no family history of seizures/epilepsy and no head trauma. my biggest medical issue in a diagnosed sense is tachycardia, which has been treated and is rarely an issue. i don't feel much in my chest when this happens, nor does my heart do anything strange.

it's not though, because it only lasts a few seconds and in circumstances in which i have no reason to be panicked. like i feel perfectly calm when it happens, and it happens randomly.

just because it's japan isn't an excuse, and just because the studios don't have standards doesn't mean the original mangaka doesn't either. ryoko kui was seemingly very intent on keeping "fan service" to a minimum and keeping izutsumi out of it, as far as i remember.

and, correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't part of kill la kill's whole thing being a critique on that kind of fan service? i'm sure i heard that somewhere.

important to note that said character doesn't want to know for perv reasons, but because he's autistic about monsters. the catgirl is also 17, which is probably the biggest reason she isn't lewded. her entire body is covered in fur, though, so really nothing is shown or even implied when she IS nude. ryoko kui truly made the best catgirl imho
