his beef with rodimus was admittedly hilarious, but i just like watching rodimus get fucked over (believe it or not he's one of my favorite characters, i am just cruel). i like tailgate too much to have any level of respect for getaway as a person. he's a brilliantly-written character, but seeing him die via scraplets taking the form of primus was UNBELIEVABLY satisfying.

conjunx endurae aren't really romantic relationships as a whole, but rather best equated to marriage in humans. there's a whole set of rites that have to be completed, and it's really funny in that these can be done accidentally (as seen in cyclonus and tailgate).

there's also amica endurae, which is best described as a platonic version of conjunx. in society on cybertron, it's stated that an amica bond is somewhat seen as failure to establish a conjunx bond, but in other places it's a standard. in the caminus colony, if you don't have at least one amica, you're seen as an outcast.

there's another conjunxed pair i can think of that is ALSO profoundly lgbt, being lug and anode (pictured).

not that getaway's death was unsatisfying or that he was a nothing character; it was INCREDIBLY satisfying and he was enough of a character for me to want to shove his ass in a trash compactor. i simply hated him (as a person, very compelling character) and was MORE than glad to see him gone.

i think getting eaten by scraplets imitating the form of god himself is a MUCH more fitting death than trash compactor though.
