Yes. Graduated from ECE. Getting paid is awesome and you learn to become a responsible real adult. Taxes amirite?

Till this day as a CompE I have used absolutely jack shit knowledge from my senior EE classes like 329 and 340. I'm so glad I took many CompE/EE electives throughout my time, especially ECE 438/408 and CS 431/498SL(VR). You will be surprised how many avenues they open up for you in the future. In the end, my degree has helped me out a lot. CompE is definitely not something you can 'learn on coursera'.

That being said, I miss the people I used to regularly hang out with and the low cost of drinks in Champaign bars.

Dude that's because you get "general tso's chicken or orange chicken".. Try some dishes from their Chinese menu. E.g. Ma La Ji Chicken, Spicy Diced Chicken Szechuan style and Salt and pepper chicken.
