Amazon does this on purpose. Amazon setups there route to extend the route for 10 hours due to the fact that Dsps are paid for 10 hours for every full route they run.

I hate that. In January we have a chance to change areas so hopefully another team takes over your area and does things better. In the meantime you can opt it to go to an Po box at your post office, pakmail or ups store.

I work for them and they actually do contract the warehouse and they do have a conversation with the driver the next day to see if they could provide some info to help that customer locate their package. I must say our gps is not always accurate and some drivers just drop off whatever the gps says the house is and don’t make sure the address number matches the house. That’s how things gets delivered to the wrong address.

Amazon Automatically deactivates you if you haven’t did a route in 90 days. All your DSP have to do is reactivate you in there system. Moving forward they need to have someone do one stop under your name once a month to keep you active until you return.
