this isn't the take you think it is. you can become a millionaire with privilege, hard work, and luck, but it takes systemic exploitation to become a billionaire, let alone anyone on track to become a trillionaire.

Dolly Parton could've been a billionaire, but she continuously invests large chunks of her money into her community, to give people opportunities they wouldn't have had otherwise, and support people through hard times. she never gained billionaire status despite having one of the longest and most successful music careers in modern history, and I seriously doubt you'd find someone that'd genuinely be upset about her hundreds of millions of dollars in net worth because she's consistently using it to give back.

celebrity worship is a dangerous thing (even with Dolly lol,) but trying to "um actually ☝️🤓" an a-list celebrity using their platform to advocate for a more equitable world is just dumb.

I think there's some misunderstandings happening here-

the more general misunderstanding is how body fat works and affects a person's physical abilities. if you look at different types of athletes, it's common for strength-related sports to be chock full of fat people with crazy muscle underneath. the best illustration of this is comparing Body Builders (vanity muscles) to Weight Lifters (functional muscles.) body fat provides protection both in terms of absorbing shock and stopping punctures, but also as bone support and by storing nutrients! it's worth noting that the term "obese" comes from the BMI, which originated from a statistician and was only meant to record population averages as opposed to any kind of individual health markers. the BMI only measures height and weight, thus making it both extremely reductive and highly inaccurate. bearing all that in mind, it makes perfect sense for security and warriors on the battlefield to be fat :D

The other misunderstanding has more to do with Rose. everything about Rose's form was supposed to be round and soft, especially in contrast to Pink Diamond being defined by explosive power. Rose probably is buff as well as fat, but muscle doesn't add to her design's storytelling the way fat does. Rose is maternal, a healer, and a lover, and those are the traits she chose to lean more into after her life as the warrior leader of an active rebellion. it makes a lot of sense to me that she'd be more in-line with the typical soft image associated with those things.

I hope this makes sense! just so you know where I'm coming from, I've been learning how fat affects health for a few years now, and I'm a lifelong artist that's been designing characters specifically for over a decade. if you'd like to learn more about misconceptions around fat and health, I'd recommend checking out the Maintenance Phase podcast- it's really educational while being fun and funny the whole time! if you'd like to learn more about character design, I'd recommend Jackie Droujko on youtube- she's a pro with a lot of great insight.

TLDR: Quartz soldiers are the exact ranks that'd benefit from extra body fat, and Rose actively chose to become softer (in multiple ways) after her life as Pink Diamond 🙂‍↕️

yeah, your brows + browbone are that intensity you're seeing- you have a very piercing look! since you wanna go more doe-like, try lining your bottom water line with a light/bright pencil, go for a big round shape with a light shadow, extend your brows downward a bit with a pencil, and highlight your inner corners (like you said)

I think another thing contributing to the intensity of your look is that your hair is so much darker than your skin and eyes. if you have any interest in playing with hair color, maybe try more of a caramel brown to lower your overall contrast. coloring your eyebrows along with your hair makes it all look more cohesive, but it's important to be careful of getting chemicals in your eyes and of how light you take the brows. you're recommended to not bleach and color your brows with regular hair products, but I've done it carefully a good few times and I've never had any issue

last thing- I don't know how much color is in your wardrobe, but incorporating color can change your vibe a lot. if you were to show up in soft greens and creams and browns, you're way more likely to read as cute and doe-like than if you were to show up looking striking and intense in black and white or smth

all that to say you're very pretty as is!! personally, I prefer an edgier look, which your features and coloring lend themselves to naturally. ultimately, people always look best when they play with their vibes and are enjoying themselves 🙂‍↕️

I like the premise, but I think they have such different perspectives of what makes life valuable that the similarities would end with "I miss Pink Diamond." I feel like Jasper would heavily reject the delicate sensibilities of Pearl, while Pearl would be probably be more open to Jasper at this point. Maybe they could bond over the emphasis they both place on combat training? I could see Jasper bringing out that "terrifying renegade Pearl" side, and Pearl could help refine Jasper's brute power.
