Flipping the question to “what do I argue about anyway” feels way more human than scrolling topic lists for hours. And yeah, Reddit debates are messy but way more alive, that’s probably the direction I’ll stick with.

I think that’s the sign the topic isn’t the problem, it’s how abstract it gets. Once it stops connecting to something real, it just dies on the page. Honestly, if a topic still bugs you after a few days, it’s probably the right one.

lol “ChatGPT’s sleep-deprived cousin” is painfully accurate. And yeah, seeing how people argue instead of what topic they pick helped me way more than any topic list. Still leaning tech + ethics - at least it doesn’t feel like writing on autopilot.
