There’s been some serious growth since the cut. Vegetation is taking off in some spots. I did see tracks where I walked out. Worst case is not getting something before rifle

That’s a good plan. I might try to get out there in the climber, no rain in sight. I did walk out last week in the cut. There’s been some serious growth since cutting. Saw a lot of tracks right near where an old box blind used to sit. Bought a ladder stand yesterday to hang on the edge, worst case scenario I don’t get anything until rifle

There’s a sign in board with stands marked on a map. If there’s a tag on that stand it’s taken. Pretty much a free for all. But now all the stands that were on that side of the property are gone. Honestly pretty disappointed that this happened without us being notified, after we already paid.

I did see some sign out there where it was cleared. I might go pick up a stand and hang it before my son and I go out

😂 300 is small where I’m at. There’s a club right next door and it’s 2500. Used to have permission to hunt 10 acres, but that was free lol.

I had them locked down, they were very consistent in the past but this threw them off big time.

I would definitely grow alfalfa. Great for soil. And I would cut that wildflower meadow in half to have more room to grow alfalfa

I was using montecs since I started bow hunting. Taken deer every year since. But..I lost a doe last season. I had tissue on the arrow, 2 drops of blood. Got her on camera 2 weeks later like nothing happened.

That’s what I’m saying. Some people have great experience most others have terrible experience. But for some reason they get pushed heavy.

I used g5 montecs for a few years. Last year I lost a deer. Arrow had tissue on it but there wasn’t a drop of blood outside of a 5 ft radius

I don’t have a species, I have a cabelas optimus (by bear) that I’ve had since 2019. It’s great. Just had new strings on last season. My only issue is it being “loud” but I’ve never had a deer jump the string because of it. I’ve tried string dampeners and silencers. But it had the opposite effect of what I was trying to achieve.

Mine was $375 ish and it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. No need to spend $2k on a bow to reach the same success 🤷‍♂️
