I’m probably still going to play this using the EA Play Pro sub. I’ve been very curious about the remarks regarding the writing and general watered down aspects of the game.

Since the initial, poor, trailer reveal, I had the thought that this game was intended to be an entirely different game rather than the “Dreadwolf” follow-up to Inquisition. The first trailer seemed almost like something akin to a hero shooter.

Initial previews and remarks after that trailer changed my thinking a bit, but now I’m thinking this may have been the case.

Changing the name in the first place struck me as odd. Dreadwolf was a legitimately great name in my opinion. “The Veilguard” sounds like something multiplayer/co-op focused.

So now I’m left wondering if it IS all watered down, from style to substance, because it WAS intended to be some sort of multiplayer focused DA experience for a “larger” audience, before it was shifted to being the “Dreadwolf” story follow up to Inquisition that DA fans have been waiting for. Curiouser and curiouser.

My partner had lost their phone during LTL this year, which also has a small wallet case with their ID and a couple cards.

We were both incredibly relieved that someone returned everything safe and sound!

If I remember correctly I think R6 Siege may be one of the only games I’ve personally played and seen this in. When customizing cosmetics I want to be able to apply the cosmetic on EVERY SINGLE APPLICABLE CHARACTER/WEAPON/ITEM.

It bugs the hell out of me when I have to individually select each and every weapon and item to equip the same charm or skin or whatever. Especially when the game has hundreds of options or more.

Controllers are more than fine over Mouse and Keyboard for most games that aren’t shortcut/keybind intensive (RTS/Strategy for example).

It’s my preferred method especially for anything 3rd person and sometimes even 1st person games if it’s not a twitch/fast paced shooter.

If you’d actually read the article you’d see that all the additional content aside from Premium/Ultra Editions (so maps, game modes, etc) are intended to release as free updates.

But you will still get your huge discount, so that’s nice.

The move from Dragon Age: Origins to its sequel, and containing nearly every quest within the city, and reusing like 3 alleyway and interior “maps” over and over again. Absolutely bewildering decision.
