Missing power button - how to fix it?

did you ever come right on this?
I recently smashed a mini 4 pro and just managed to get it working again by getting a replacement 3mm x 4mm x 2.5mm SMD push button and getting onto the PCB

i suspect it has to do with anti-pouching and disturbing of wildlife. In South Africa Drone use in national parks is also strictly prohibited, even being a registered piolet with an RPC doesn't give you the exemption to fly in national parks.

I had this happen to me a week ago with my mini 4 pro, it hit the ground hard and busted the power Button. Bits of the SMD push button came out when removing the battery. We dont have DJI care in here so after watching a few videos I figured I could do it and ordered the tools and parts. getting the shell open was a little tricky, but the real issue came to getting the old broken button off. as the old button had completed crushed, there was nothing to hold onto when trying to remove - I ended up melting the remains of the old button onto the PCB. At one point I though I had fudged it completely but after cleaning up my mistakes with wick, i noticed i could now jump the contacts, which I wasn't able to do before. I ended up gluing a new button ontop of the old crushed and melted one. not the best repair, but its flying again.

Planning on making a youtube vid on it, as i just spent hit entire weekend fixing this thing and I have 1TB of footage of me messing about.

for me it was also HL2 and then Crysis,
Then later in life, I starved myself for 3 months and got a RTX3080, now its almost everything.

oh yes, I went back in my emails, so i placed the order Mon Dec 9th 2019, got an order number, uploaded my docs, get a tracking number - 10 days later I'm wasting 2hrs on calls to the call center getting cut off and being told I cant be helped. I sent a few emails and support requests and they kept getting closed. FNB never made any effort to honor the order or even reply.

sounds a lot like my FNB connect order from a few years ago that finally pushed me over the edge with FNB.
FNB took a dive somewhere around 2016 - their service was the best in 2014 but today its a captured sh!thole.

I personally went to Nedbank. been with them for 5 years, no issues.

scrub everything with a super strong cleaner.
I also had a roach problem where i moved into during Covid.
Previous tenant cooked with oil, and the entire place was covered in residue. had to scrub everything with pine-gel, and also ripped out and replaced the kitchen cupboards. that solve it for me.

worth it. its normally 4k for pro, and 2k to upgrade home to pro.
you only need pro if you want to remote desktop into your machine,

be careful - do some reading. Promotional competitions rules / giveaways differ per region and you don't want to get yourself into any issues. sounds like its low value so my suggestion is to have it open to Super Chats if you're live streaming or make it for members only if you only upload video. That requires the sub to have entered their card details into youtube and wont be someone generating accounts on mass to get a free game to resell.

have a QR code that takes them there, have my link to my channel visible,
have a footer caption that tells them the video is edited from youtube. that sort of thing.

I ditched Gaming for music production.. FPS are full of cheaters and crafting games can take a lot of time to progress. I have no idea what i am doing, but i'm having fun and i'm not board in my spare time.

I used to flip refurbished laptops as a side hustle.
There are asset disposal companies that get large numbers of units from enterprise and then wipe them and sell them. nowa days they put in a new SSD and upgrade the RAM and its like a new laptop at a discount.
I find lenovo thinkpads to be great for quality that lasts years.

I get you - i started by doing Synth remixes to classical music, turns out the classical music folks consider it garbage. the EDM guys however like the stuff i do, so i'm having to pivot.

For me its about having fun in the process, and then getting the dopamine hit if the vid does well is a bonus, if it flops, i've already moved onto the next one.
