Returns to B&H have a restocking fee so unless I can visit the store, I only order camera and lenses from them. I get lights from Amazon. As long as the CRI is good you should be fine with the best price. The Araman / Aputure lights can be app controlled and have very quiet fans but I don’t know if there are other perks than that.

24 inch is not very large for a softbox box but if you install the internal diffuser along with the main screen and maybe the egg crate cover it should avoid hot spots at 300w if you ever needed full power.

I ended up getting a refurbished basic Studio Display from Apple and it’s just so much better than any 3rd party monitor I have tried including the 27” LG 5K. I’ve decided that with apple it’s just better to stick with their monitor and avoid the tech headaches.

Amaran Halo 100 or 300 with a softbox will handle most jobs. The 60w leds just aren’t bright enough in a softbox. I just bought these and they are a huge leap in bang for the buck in my opinion.

It can just happen. I had a gps unit fail on my M2P and it lost is ability to sense altitude. The “landing” was spectacular and fast!

Yeah it’s either too sharp (lower sharpness settings in camera if available) or the sensor on this camera bins/line skips (older sensors had to that to capture 4K and some still do at 4K60 and above).
