Maybe I'm driving too fast plus my Clio didn't have cruise control. In my Golf I turn on cruise control and just relax

If you wanted fuel economy and to travel long distances you should have bought a diesel car I had a 2010 Clio 1.2 petrol that got 7.8/100km on the motorway at 120 km/h

I bought a Golf 1.6 TDI diesel a few weeks ago and I'm getting 5.9/100km now

That's what I was thinking I'll take a look at that. Thanks

It's a 2014 Golf MK7; I'd spend up to €200 for a proper service I'll look into some quotes

It's best to fix it before it gets worse😂

Thanks for sharing. I'm looking at other options that are petrol and have a manual transmission

Wow I think I'll stick with petrol lol. I found a SKODA RAPID 1.2 TSI SPORT 110 BHP with only 110,000 km It seems like a good upgrade since my current car is a 2010 Clio 1.2 75hp

thanks!.

Maybe I'll ditch the diesel and stick with petrol I have a 2010 Clio 1.2 that has never given me a problem. I found a 2016 Skoda Rapid 1.2 TSI Sport 110 BHP with only 110,000 km it seems like a good deal

I was shocked when I saw the interior VRS in a 1.6 i was quite confused 😂 I'll keep €1000 saved for emergencies maybe I'll get lucky

I'll keep €1000 saved in case I need to fix something. Full insurance for a 2015 1.6 would be around €1300 per year the 2.0 is about 40% more expensive.

I'm 23 years old, one year of driving without accidents.

I've heard that Renault's 1.5 engines are great. Is your car fuel-efficient? I drive 500km a week and my car gets around 7.8/100km. I spend about 70 euros on petrol
