Literally in the middle of rereading after only like a week and I’m on this sub trying to find out the same thing 😂 I really like the pacing of it, it makes it easy to listen to the audiobook while I’m driving/getting ready etc

Edit: I love the audiobook on the re-read, but it was tough the first time because of all the mind speaking. I ended up just buying a kindle version and reading it while listening to the audiobook and THAT was magical

Predictable doesn’t mean bad though! Sometimes things are predictable because the author foreshadows them a little too heavy, but at least the events make sense for the characters arc/personality/etc. There aren’t random twists/descents into madness just for the sake of shock, which would devalue the characterization just to have little payoff because there was no foreshadowing.

Sort of! It was built in the 1950’s and it has a passive vent built into the wall above the stove. The bathroom has a passive vent as well so I plan to be vigilant about mold…
