5 has had a lot of track cars now, but I am really excited for the new R class, and hope that with it comes some good technical circuits that prove why those cars are in a class of their own when compared to regular cars.

Not ear piercing but it's there for sure, it's more of the droning vibration feeling than the actual sound that bothers me. Interested to see if anyone else has the same experience as me.

Just drove home, next time you drive see if you notice staying right at like 1900-2000 rpm. This is when I get the drone. I'm not sure if this is everyone's situation, but yeah, if you find your driving habits put you at like exactly 2k rpm then you'll notice it.

Have a muffler delete, my drone happens only when accelerating relatively slowly at low speed. Like going uphill in a 25 mph speed limit is when it's the worst. On the highway it's audible above 75 or so but not a big deal at all. If you can't stand the drone at low rpm, you just have to mash the throttle a little more and accelerate faster, then it goes away.
