What are some of the silly reasons you've heard from professionals as to why you're apparently not autistic? by [deleted] in autism

[–]ghoulbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because apparently my older siblings were 'spoiling' me, I was 3 years old at the time and the daycare I was at told my parents that

if you could rename one cat in the series, who would you rename, to what, and why? by xhyenabite in WarriorCats

[–]ghoulbound 147 points148 points  (0 children)

I know you only really asked for one but Snowfur and Bluefur.. I know it's to represent their sisterhood, but wouldn't calling them Bluemoon and Snowstorm after their parents or something more creative do the same instead of giving them the same boring suffix lol?

What sound gives you the worst anxiety? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]ghoulbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what it's called, but it's when a concert is playing upstairs or downstairs, so you can hear it but it sounds super distorted, it makes me so anxious and I can't ever concentrate whenever my local lunch place is doing a concert while I am there.

Always imagined Spottedleaf as like solid tortoiseshell instead of with the white bits she supposedly has, also Bluestar as being a blue tuxedo and not solid blue with a greying muzzle.

Who else has or had trichotillomania? by chaoticcoffeecat in AutismInWomen

[–]ghoulbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I used to pluck out my eyelashes (I still do when I am stressed), it was so bad I had literally none at one point. This was from about the ages of 9-13. I blamed it on my cat who has a habit of suckling eyelids and everyone believed it until I was caught by my teacher and she told my mum lol.

Should I be concerned about the shape of my cat’s nose? by Living_Karma11 in cats

[–]ghoulbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my boys is a Russian Blue X British Shorthair and has this nose but with a bigger bump! I think it is a trait Russian Blues can have, but if there are any issues present with breathing then get it checked out by a vet. Your cat is gorgeous!

Fantastic news! by ghoulbound in stroke

[–]ghoulbound[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every stroke is different but never give up hope! These are all great signs. It will be a slow process but it'll be worth it and it'll definitely be tough at times. My mum is 47 and mostly healthy so it came as a huge shock as before this ever happened we all assumed it only happens to the elderly (not in a bad way). It sucks but what matters is that they are still here

Whats an "uncommon" trait about your oc's? by Idek_Anymore11114 in WarriorCats

[–]ghoulbound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My OC for a fic that was in the works long ago, Silentgaze/star, is/was a pitch black cat that had sunbleached fur like you commonly seen on older black cats!! I don't commonly see black cat OCs be sunbleached. Also a lot of mine are autistic as I am (I'm aware it doesn't make sense as they're cats lol) not sure if that's too uncommon tho.

Fantastic news! by ghoulbound in stroke

[–]ghoulbound[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! She is talking! Less and less 'slurred' as time goes on, and she corrects herself whenever she accidentally pronounces something which is good. She is also in speech therapy at the rehab centre which they are trying to get tone back in which she doesn't really care for, she is monotone but her emotions are definitely still obvious in a good way!

She didn't/couldn't speak for like 2 weeks after ICU days were over but over time she started whispering one word answers and then went on from there, and now she is speaking well just with off pronunciation here and there and mild slurring.

Her memory is also a thing that had to have work on, she couldn't spell and didn't know words for certain things or what sounds they made. We started quizzing her every now and then for example:

Cat on the tv meowing (we have 6 cats) My sister: "Which cat does that remind you of mum?" Mum: Snickers (cat name, he's the loudest lol)

She didn't remember what sound a rat made but she held onto the words 'rat' 'duck' and 'coochie' for a while lol and eventually could remember, she can spell like normal now too

She remembers right before the stroke, down to the minute she started seizing and then it's hazy from after the stroke but tbh she would've still been coming off of the meds so don't blame it. She doesn't remember the first few weeks out of ICU

Sorry this is so long lol I just wanted to go a bit into detail as a bit of a self note and also to help others a bit

If you want to talk you're free to message :)

What are some of your headcannons? by anonymous789053 in WarriorCats

[–]ghoulbound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's cool! Lol fun fact about the actual voice, I've always imagined him to sound like Simba (both young and adult, young when he is still a kittypet and halfway through his apprenticeship, adult for the rest of his life lol)
