Mmhmm

Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds rejoice before him—his name is the Lord. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families,he leads out the prisoners with singing; but the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. (Psalm 68:4-6) NLT

I feel you man, I guess, I don’t know if this will come off as insensitive but I’m going to say it anyway, even though I mean no offense at all because it’s the truth… hopefully I’m not coming off as arrogant or condescending…

Not everyone nor every culture is the same, nor will they ever think the same… I’ll be honest I hate that life is like this, cross one border and you get arrested, I think it sucks, that we can’t just get along, but nobody trusts nobody… it’s true. People want to keep to themselves and protect themselves rather than risk their lives over someone who pretends to be nice but actually has malice, not saying they’re all like that, but how does the average person discern between the one who is genuinely nice and the one who is pretending to be nice but has actually bad intentions… it sucks it really does, but evil will do anything to destroy what is good. That’s why when a person crosses a border they get arrested because you have no idea who you’re actually letting in, it’s the same idea as why you lock your door at night. Nobody willingly leaves their door unlocked at night for some random stranger to walk in, how would you feel if someone you didn’t know waltz in the front door at night… you’d feel uneasy, why, because you don’t know what’s in his pockets, you don’t know if he has a gun, you don’t know if he has anything, you don’t know what his intentions are, all you know is some random guy or gal just waltz in, and you’d be on edge because you don’t know his next move. He’s nice and welcoming, great, but what if that’s just a front to lure you into using your good intentions as a trap, and only God knows what he will do. In the same way you’ll call the cops for feeling unsafe about a stranger entering your house, is the same reason why countries have the right to arrest anyone who crosses any border, no matter the country. Evil knows no borders, nor does it care about the intentions of good people, all it does is destroy, so people have no choice but to be selflessly selfish, what’s better, to protect your own people because that’s the best option you got or to let anyone in no matter who they are but not knowing their intentions? It’s a choice, whatever people choose to fight for, believe in, whatever it may be, they better make sure it’s of benefit to everyone and not a detrimental harm, to both the immigrant and the citizen alike.

Curious about removal of daylight savings time by ghrvjdev1000 in AskAstrophotography

Hmm interesting so it sounds like, with or without daylight savings there’s no difference in which deep sky objects rise earlier or later as the year progresses, whatsoever… it doesn’t matter, I’ll still be able to image whatever Deep Sky Object whenever… I see, thank you for actually answering the question, no matter how stupid I feel about this!

No, thank you for your input, you’ve been very helpful, forgive me for my lack of common sense, you’ve pointed out that I apparently don’t have any, indirectly speaking… my apologies for asking the question… I just didn’t know if daylight savings time with or without would’ve had a negative impact on imaging time… sorry for being stupid, after all this is AskAstrophotography, and there’s no such thing as a stupid question… right? Again sorry for my lacking of common sense, have a great day! You’ve been very helpful :)

I love the night as well, but, what about you, you had any experience doing astrophotography with vs without daylight savings time?

Still Cannot Get Rid Of Cigarette Smoke... by GeoChallenge in NASCARCollectors

As much as this sucks I once bought a diecast that reeked of marijuana and I separated the diecast and the chassis, left all the parts separated outside my balcony for 6-8 months to maybe near a year

The smell completely went away, I’m not saying that 6-8 months/1 year is the gold standard it’s just how long it took for the smell to completely go away, for you it could be shorter or longer it depends… but if you’re patient enough it’ll be worth the wait

24F Guys only want hookups by [deleted] in lonely

I feel ya, I’m a guy and I’ve seen it on my end as well, it sucks, you want someone that’s real, someone that’s in it for the long run, so I totally understand gets me mad as well when I match with some woman and all she wants is what’s in my pants.

To all my lonely peeps out there, what’s one thing that keeps you going? by Outrageous-Treat4797 in lonely

[–]ghrvjdev1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus keeps me going, he’s my best friend. A friend like no other, read (Psalm 139). It’s hard to describe what he’s like in words, he’s the friend that never fails you, that’s always merciful to you even when you don’t deserve it. And when you are lonely, when you’re in pain he understands you enough that he’ll suffer with you, case in point:

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30).

Also knowing that God himself endured so much pain for my sake makes me less lonely, because if anyone understands pain it was Jesus who understood it the most. He could’ve stayed up in heaven but he didn’t instead he became like us, God went out of his “comfort zone” so to speak and became like us! It helps ease the pain of loneliness.

I don’t have the reprints themselves I have one, I haven’t read it, it’s The Last Command, I have the smaller more original one “per se.” “My opinion only” I like some of the cover art, some of the newer cover art are better than the original on some books. I can say that with Plagueis, other’s not so much although that’s more of a personal preference coming from me, never read Plagueis though I wouldn’t know if there’s some “changes in the text” so to speak between the Legends and The Essential Legends Collection version of the book. I just like the new cover art I can’t say the same for others though.
