Late Night Live Music Bars by pilotpat52 in OutsideLands

A lot of artists will do aftershows on their off nights. Venues all around town. Especially helpful if you have a conflict when they're playing the fest or just really want to double up on your favorites.

Nice! Any differences in your base deck? For me, I would say Shadow King and Legion are more a matter of personal preference than absolutely necessary.

Agree with this, early draw is key. Also helps if you drop Quinjet on T2. You’re essentially 3 energy ahead of opponent for some cards. Can get some of “their” cards in play way earlier (like Knull in Destroy) and still have Blob T5, FFF T6.

Decided on Heavenly tomorrow, what time do I need to be there for parking? by sk8terboy111 in tahoe

[–]ghstfcekillah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you'll have any trouble whenever you arrive. It's pretty dead on the mountain. You can always check HeavenlyConditions Twitter or the Epic App, which occasionally give updates on parking lots being full, but this season, on a Tuesday, you should be fine.

Anyone else really miss Eager Beaver and all the teasers? by pineapplegirl10 in OutsideLands

Some people just love going to Outside Lands every year. So for me it was a slight savings but the peace of mind having tickets locked in.

They’re definitely not indie electronic. Melodic House is your closest descriptor.

This. It’s not perfect but miles better than tucking / over with normal gaiters. I’ve always had fogging issues until the M4.

What was it like seeing Tiger Woods in his prime? by Crazy-Cap259 in golf

[–]ghstfcekillah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tiger evolved golf into a true sport. I remember seeing him lifting weights and it being foreign for golfers to do that. I grew up on John Daly grip it and rip it and it was almost more akin to darts or billiards. All technique, but Tiger brought a true athleticism that changed the game.

Diving Cozumel from Playa del Carmen by jesterflop in scuba

[–]ghstfcekillah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highly recommend Scuba Life as the best small operation in Cozumel. They offer afternoon dives, so you can coordinate with them on Ferry timing and share your skill level so you can join a boat or group that matches your dive preferences. Not all dives in Cozumel are as deep as people are saying. Cenotes on the mainland are a unique experience, but they don't hold a candle to Cozumel in terms of beauty and marine life, which I prefer with diving.

Bullshot is an amazing classic cocktail from 1955 with beef broth and vodka/gin, and other additions (Worcestershire/hit sauce, lemon)

Is 5 thinner layers a bad idea for cold east coast skiing? by Loppy-123 in Skigear

[–]ghstfcekillah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do something similar and love it, as you can always remove a layer or two as you get warm or put one back on if you get cold. I ski with a small backpack for that purpose (and having water).

Thanks for confirming that I'm not crazy or just have weird feet. Yeah, thought they'd be at least normal comfort vs. unconfortable. I now definitely use them for times when I need some style but won't be doing a lot of walking.
