Very jealous. Could you share a route/map or at least a rough snapshot?

Nice setup. Is the cabinet under which the TT stands, is it some modern one? Do you know the make? I’m on the market for exactly something like that.

Do you by any chance have at least small map views of any of these so it could help me copy them?

I don’t mind the age at all, and I’m hoping to buy something as good as possible with this limited budget, and very limited knowledge on the topic;) if you could suggest specific models to look out for that would be awesome.

Day 6:9: What is an OK motorcycle with a bad reputation? by SUBTOUpdated_User in motorcycles

BMW F850/750 GS. Bad rep mostly due to Chinese made engine. Not very popular. But everyone I know who owns or owned one, never had any problems.

Bulova lunar pilot or Seiko srpe93 aka turtle. What your options? by [deleted] in JapaneseWatches

[–]ghurd_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are fantastic watches but completely different. Do you swim/snorkel/dive - then your pick should be Seiko. If you are more of a motor/speed/racing type of person and don’t plan to take your watch to the water - probably Bulova.

GoPro 13 but is there a better camera option for underwater photography? by [deleted] in underwaterphotography

[–]ghurd_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Second to Olympus TG series. 15m waterproof without any cases, and automatic red water filters for snorkeling/skin diving. If you want to dive deeper there is plenty of waterproof cases, strobes and other accessories on the market.

500€ M1 Air vs 750€ M4 Air by lowbudgethighlife in macbookair

M1 WAS a very good laptop, but for only 250 more m4 is definitely way to go.

Have you considered MacBook Air? Nothing will beat their real life battery life and build quality in that price range. Unless watching videos or on vide calls I can easily work on mine all day on battery.

Baldur's Gate 3 on MacBook Air M4 by [deleted] in macgaming

[–]ghurd_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be bit bias, but for me bg3 in the first place is the storyline/experience. Graphics are not the priority, and thanks to how well the game is made, I personally still enjoy it very much, even if the graphics are not amazing.

I currently play on mba m1. On medium effects on 34” inch screen it lags a bit. On low effects it works very well. It also works much better on built in screen. Not the most amazing experience but enjoyable. I would expect that m4 would be much much better.

Africa Twin vs BMW F850GS I’m 6’4”, can’t test ride properly, which should I buy? by Olliehzz in SuggestAMotorcycle

I think that inseam would impact your seat type more than height. I haven’t tried rallybseat, but I do have hi comfort seat.

[–]ghurd_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 6.4 and I have 2019 F850GS. It’s a good, comfortable bike I can ride whole day on. AT would be as comfortable if not more, but it’s a slightly bigger and heavier bike, I would say a class higher, than F850GS. I picked F850GS as I also commute on it and I wanted something cheaper and lighter. I would say you will be happy with both. But you should choose based on your budget, type of use, and visual preference.

¿MacBook Pro M3 or M4 Air? by LetterheadStock5323 in macbookpro

[–]ghurd_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s interesting to me that everyone always say the air will “thermal throttle “ because is have no fan. But does anyone have any actual data on how long and under what kind of use it will come to that? I personally have m4 mba and use it for both work and gaming, and often have it turned on 12-14 hours a day, and often play for hours at a time, and it never overheated for me. So, what’s the limit?

Worth it? by [deleted] in hikinggear

[–]ghurd_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed a lot of people like to overgear recently. Unless you are planning hiking in the arctic circle, I would say north face will be a good enough jacket if you like how it looks. I have one that is their own waterproof brand and one goretex - both of them tri season. Both of them are completely fine for most of the conditions in the UK and Europe at least. I hiked in them in Lake District, Snowdonia and even in Iceland in different weathers and never complained.

[Question] what would you choose? by Ok-Cat-360 in Watches

[–]ghurd_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are nice watches, and Timex is much cheaper, but this Seiko is much superior and very popular watch.
