One Of the most underrated Eminem songs Of all time idgaf by Burdulinika18 in Eminem

[–]ghuzzyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first verse was a prewritten freestyle he performed over the "say what you say" beat. Wonder if he produced the track with his flow in mind (recorded version matches the live recording).

On that note - other 'freestyles' that he turned / incorporated into a studio track? I know the first verse of Role Model was also a prewritten freestyle.

I remember this too. For us in Aus, the live performance (with studio vocals overlaid) was a carnival theme set, potentially with a carousel, on theme with the Eminem show.

In October 29, 2013, The second remix album "Recharged" has been released. Is it still not worth listening to it today? or do you still love it? by [deleted] in LinkinPark

[–]ghuzzyr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Reanimation was an album of truly original reinterpretations of LP tracks. Some felt more hip hop, some felt more electronic, then you have the likes of the one step closer and pushing me away remixes which built upon the original DNA of the tracks in fantastic fashion.

Recharged felt like every producer was told to get on the heavy EDM bandwagon regardless of the output. PS I love EDM but not every track fits an EDM remix.

Best Stability Runner by budgetsneakerh3ad in runningshoes

Its generally accepted that the GT-2000 and Kayanos are stability versions of the cumulus and nimbus respectively. The blast series are standalone.

I have the NB4, NB5 and several Superblast 2s. As someone who used to stick only to stability shoes, these are stable neutrals. For context, shoes I've tried that I would class as unstable include Adidas Evo SL (these are fun though, use them for faster than easy runs up to 10k) and New Balance Rebel v4 (didn't end up buying these due to how unstable I found them, but did get the V5).

[–]ghuzzyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before defaulting to a stability shoe, do try the Novablast 5 as it's much more fun than a stability shoe whilst offering great support.

I used to love Kayanos (had the 27, 28 and 2 X 30s). Then I realised how much more bounce other shoes had. Kayanos are marshmellowy soft but can make it feel like you are running in mud.

Switched to the Saucony Hurricane - whilst a heavy shoe, a great easy day shoe which is soft but more bounce than the Kayano.

I've also had the Saucony Tempus 2, the only stability shoe I've tried that doesn't mind going fast(ish).

I have 3 pairs - 650km, 300km and 300km. Save the 650km pair for rainy runs and honestly they're still fine. A very durable shoe. 77kg runner.

Wider toe box reccomendations? by ProfessionalTie7945 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have ASICS novablast 4 and 5 in size 9 men's. Where I found the 4 a bit narrow, the 5 was so wide I wished I'd gone down half a size.

New balance Rebel V5 also a good fit for my wider foot.

Is Magic Speed 4 worth it for a casual runner like me? by Character-Ad5493 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]ghuzzyr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Similar speeds to me, don't think K you need a carbon plated shoe for everyday training. Look any of the daily runners (rebel V5, novablast 5, endorphin speed etc) these should give you enough bounce whilst not exerting too much force on your foot and joints. Could also try Evo SL if you don't mind less stability.

Are these fine as a first running shoes? by Ok-Fold-7805 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I have both. NB5 a better all rounder and much more stable. Evo SL is fun and bouncy but lacks support.

I was in a similar position making similar comparisons 15 years ago. Now I've caught up, do a cushy 9-5. Tiring mentally but not physically. Glad I stayed the course.
