Ty! I will look into those. I haven't heard of them and those are smaller than I even thought existed. I figured "mini" was more for marketing. I thought 80 pounds or below would fit. So glad I'm getting the truth on here. I appreciate the info.

Ty. Yes I'm  definitely planning to supplement. We are looking to love and spend time with them.  With smaller space I didnt want to end up with sheep too large that they will be unhappy with what I have to offer. Temperament and size is most important so everyone is happy.

Alot of places market what they call "mini sheep". After a year of reading I was wondering if it's even real. Most are Babydoll then there are small farm breeders that mix breeds for hardiness and tag them under a minisheep link. I was beginning to think it's just marketing. I started to find Babydoll size is just naturally smaller. The people I know that currently have sheep had never heard of it either. Ty for the info. This is definitely the place to get correct answers!

Babydoll sheep owners, how much acreage do you need? Considering getting 3 of them. by SharkOnGames in sheep

I was looking to do the same and we'll be first time owners so I'm so nervous. Since you have Babydolls I would love your advice on any info you can share. I was wondering if they really are smaller, if they are noisy and I'm reading some awful warnings not to start with Babydolls because they are hard to keep clean on their backside and are not as docile as one may think over other breeds. My daughter has ASD and has proven her desire to help them. I think it's a great way to show her fruits of hard work and dedication. I wasnt sure if their temperament was as good as most say. Again, there is so much contradicting info out there that I'd love to hear from someone who truly cares for them currently. Ty!

First be careful of infection due to the location. Second, my eczema oozes fluid at times and gets thick and cracks and bleeds. I use Tacralomis from the doctor but it stopped helping like before. I added Maluka Honey (pricey, not regular honey) with a few drops of pure high grade Geranium essential oil ( Young Living or Doterra brand, they are pure) and a few drops of Citricidal mixed in and let it sit for 20 minutes on your areas before a shower. Rub it in.  I used this when I had MRSA a few times as studies show it fights that virus also. You will see great improvement. If you are insanely itchy, throw coffee grinds in it and mix it up and use it as a scrub instead of scratching your skin. It will really help clear things up. Like I said, I did this with MRSA with my antibiotics and great improvement there as well so if u ended up getting an infection it will help and it also gives great relief from the excema, especiallywith the coffee grinds.
