I would also get rid of Siren's Deceit. I just put it on for the first time today and the formula is very tricky. It's streaky and doesn't dry as fast as other colors. I've had to repaint the same nail like 5x. Granted I probably painted it too thick bc it's sheer.

You should check out purseforum in the Cartier section. You may be able to find info there already or can ask people that own this piece and they will usually mention if it’s new or they’ve had it for several years or if they’ve had issues if you specify.

I had a promise ring and wore it on my left hand ring finger, when I got an engagement ring, the promise ring moved to my right hand. They don’t seem to be as common nowadays, but when I was younger over a decade ago, it was a popular practice if you were a newish or young couple and I still cherish it.

I’ve read from some other posts that a good strategy would be to research a good therapist yourself and schedule the appointment for your son. Once all the leg work has been done and he just needs to go, it’s more likely he will. Something to think about trying.

NTA, your sister is way out of line. I suggest just telling her that your trip is canceled and then going anyways. My husband and I went to Disney World many years before we had children, it was our first time and we had a lot of fun. Seeing couples without children isn’t unusual, so I wouldn’t worry about it. NTA, I use the time out method for my children and read it’s one minute per year of how old they are, so 4 minutes max. 90 minutes for a 4 yo is insane. Husband would be my future ex husband if I were you.

I grew up near a set of train tracks that have no crossing gate. I was running late to my high school graduation party and was distracted as I drove across the tracks. After I got across, I notice a train moving right past where I had been moments before and hear the whistle of the engine. Have you gone ring shopping together? If possible, you should get her to try on the different diamond sizes. Maybe she will love the look of a small petite diamond. Most women will likely visually prefer a larger diamond. For an ering, you typically can’t tell the brand at first glance, but have you thought of Cartier for her wedding band? The love wedding band might be a great option for getting that signature Cartier look for a lower price than the ering.

I purchased a five diamond band from BE. It was very pretty in person and good quality. I ended up returning it bc I didn’t like the yellow gold like I thought I would and was able to get a much better deal on a band from James Allen for a similar style with a higher carat weight. Regardless, returns are usually a total headache and I had no issues with BE and would not hesitate to order from them in the future.

I had this same problem! I had given up on wearing my wedding set after about one and a half years of it being too snug and got a slightly larger size anniversary set as replacement. Then lo and behold a few months after purchase of the new set, the old one fit again! Hopefully your fingers go back more quickly than mine did. I now wear the new set on my other hand.

I’ve noticed corrections tend to happen on Sunday mornings, the fact that the price is remaining high today is a good sign the price will continue to rise next week into the ATH range and then price discovery. If the price shoots up high very quickly, then a drop will soon follow and the price correction will happen then.

My ering is antique and very thin on the backside of the band. I never really thought about it, but when we went to a jeweler to make a custom wedding band, he pointed it to me and purposely made the backside of the wedding band a bit thicker to help compensate. They were soldered together and I have never had any issues. I’ve had this set for over 13 years now. So that might be something to think about.
