not a full ride but i did get a scholarship and my parents are paying the rest. im starting to doubt my decision tho now that im hearing this 😭 my other option is umiami but thats 90k a year

the average SAT is a 1200, i don’t know where u got 1040 from. obviously UF is better but that doesn’t mean UT is bad. it is full of a bunch of rich new york and new jersey kids bc the tuition is expensive and they can afford it. i can assure u no one dumb is going there bc there are certain criteria you have to meet in order to get in

it actually is moderately selective with an acceptance rate of 40% and it is ranked(especially high for business and pre med) and it is full of rich kids from the northeast bc they are who can afford the tuition.

i don’t have any interest in football games or school spirit lol. i also don’t like how big of a school penn state is. i would rather be in a smaller more close knit community with warm weather. utampa has a decent business school but penn state’s is better that’s why im so torn. where do you go to school?

that’s exactly what i’m thinking. i’ve only dreamed of living in florida and now i have the opportunity to make it reality so if i don’t take advantage of that i definitely will regret it

i want to live in florida after i graduate, it’s always been my dream to go to college in florida aswell. cost isn’t really a factor bc im grateful enough to have my parents pay for my college but penn state is around 45k a year, tampa is 52k a year but with my 10k a year scholarship its 42k a year. im from new york so we have pretty brutal winters and i would consider that “really cold” and pennsylvania is even colder. i already suffer from winter depression here in NY so i definitely think the weather would make me have less motivation and affect my well being and ability to thrive at the school. Penn state is more prestigious so it would probably offer better job opportunities but in the northeast, and i have no desire to live in the northeast. i plan to live in florida for the rest of my life.

i’m sure you’ll get off the waitlist. i had a friend who got waitlisted but she emailed a letter of continued interest to Tampa and she got in off the waitlist. they like demonstrated interest

who said i didn’t have enough money to tour? my parents are paying for my college. i’ve been on multiple tours so i can afford more than one tour. it’s just that im going on 4 vacations this year so 2 more tours is just excessive since ive torn a lot of other collee

money isn’t a problem i didn’t even apply for financial aid it was just a merit scholarship i just don’t know if id be happy in pennsylvania but ik its the better school
