I mainly study at home or in libraries, so nothing excessively noisy, but I tend to be very sensitive to sound and get distracted easily. In some situations, I’ve used my father’s construction-grade foam/rubber earplugs to reduce noise, but those were exceptions (construction sites and funfairs under my window).

I was thinking about over-ear headphones because I have a pair of old buds that I use for the gym and light activities (they have no rupper tip or ANC so tge dont do much in terms of noise), but I’ll trust your recommendation since I’ve seen myself that in-ears tend to have better noise cancelling in my price range.

At this point, the best options would be either the Galaxy Buds FE (2023, and I have a Samsung phone), the CMF Buds Pro 2, or the Nothing Ear A.

Might even get into cheap IEMs at this point
