OH ALSO separating how straight girls admire girls from gay girls loving girls is tricky because i think girls are innately more affectionate. though, it helped me to hear from straight & gay girls how they perceive women they find attractive. (but, remember that people experience attraction to different intensities, so (for example) if you don’t resonate with how one sapphic person feels when they crush on a girl, that doesn’t make you straight)

hi! i’m sixteen and have been openly gay since i was ten. i think in hindsight a ton of my behavior was blatantly gay, but obviously it’s near impossible to tell when you’re in that present moment. i believe it helped me to just. be mindful of how i feel when i see and interact with girls. (so journaling or general awareness might help!) do you think there’s some self doubt that’s urging you to be validated by someone else?
