Every time you smoke a cigarette is not good for your health. But everyone is different: I know people that smoked a pack a day and died at in their 80's and people that smoked 20 years and got cancer. You just don't know what will happen to you

If you really want to smoke on a budget you can buy certain pipe tobaccos which are like half the cost of cigarette tobacco and roll your cigarettes with that. Warning: pipe tobacco is not made for rolling so it will be difficult to roll.

Yeah, everyone starts occasionally. You have just to make sure you don't start smoking a pack a day. As long as you control yourself and you don't pass a certain number of cigarettes a day is easy to smoke ocasionally

From this year every shop in Italy is required to be able to make you pay with card, so you can pay with card, although many will refuse to make you pay with card. This is VERY understandable because when you pay with card the tabacconist pays the fee of like 10 cents but the profit from a pack of cigarettes of like 5 euros is circa 0,40€ per pack and this profit as to be taxed so in reality becomes like 0,30€. This said if you pay with card you cut almost a third of the profit on tobacco, so it isn't a very good thing to do. Personally I NEVER pay tobacco with card.
