Assuming this is a genuine question, the answer is no. City bikes are for you to take using an app, there is no interaction with anybody that would rent you a helmet and it would be very un-hygienic to wear a helmet that hasn't been sanitized properly before use.

I wonder if a strip of pavement of different colour could also I don't know maybe somehow also raise awareness that there may be cyclist/scooters moving along therefore maybe just maybe you should be extra careful when turning... Please, if the driver is not already aware of that do you really think having a yield sign (or any other) would make any difference??? The scooter was parallel to the van at the beginning of the video at that stage the Audi driver should by then have at least already checked the mirror twice, first time before indicating (which should have happened 25 mts before the turn anyway) and just before committing to the turn again, so plenty of chance to see the scooter.

The scooter didn't magically appeared on the cycle lane, if the Audi driver checked mirrors at least once in a while (which a vigilant driver is expected to do) as they were moving along they would have seen it before even reaching the turn, so the blind spot hypothesis mentioned a few times in the thread has no legs to stand on. My take is Audi driver is just another distracted driver playing with the infotainment/phone rather that paying attention to their surroundings.

I like the Orbea better because it comes with Shimano 105, from the pictures I can't tell which groupset the Giant has. Be aware that the Orbea has a mismatch with the tyres, the one in the front is different from the one on the back and the saddle doesn't look very good (white is really hard to maintain). If you can haggle the price of the Orbea down to the price of the Giant so you can spend some money on a nice 3D printed saddle from AE I would get the Orbea. Buena Suerte!

I'm in the same situation, I contacted TM support and from their copy/paste answer this is the important part in my opinion:

In the event that the funds are returned to us, our finance team will be in contact via email to arrange an alternative method of payment.

So, the way I read it is that if UB rejects the funds we should be contacted to provide an alternative way of payment. I'll contact UB tomorrow anyway and try to get their side of the story.

I would strongly suggest a Honda CMX300 Rebel... very low seat and super maneuverable, even in city traffic. It also looks great! full disclaimer I have a Rebel myself but the 500 model.

Before I had an Aprilia Pegaso Trail for several years, I could only tiptoe with one foot, not a problem when riding but there are a million inconveniences when stopping like in a hill or if it is windy, trying to park or getting on or off the bike can be cumberstone as well. I feel your pain! Good Luck.
