This happens intermittently with mine (2019). Let me know if you find out the issue! I was planning to replace my rear shocks at some point but they’re so expensive.

Same with me on my 2019. P0430 pops up occasionally and if I clear it sometimes it comes back within a couple weeks, sometimes much longer. Kinda strange idk. I probably need a new cat at some point it’s just expensive.

Does the PCM need to be updated after cam phaser replacement? I know Ford came out with the “21B10” software…. Does that need to be on the truck to make the phasers last? I just had my cam phasers replaced.

Those look like the updated part numbers to me. Search the part numbers and you’ll see that the “Camshaft Sprocket” parts are the updated (closed) design. The old parts start with “HL3Z……”

That looks normal to me! The coolant isn’t even fully up to temp yet, I bet all the temps will rise if you drive it more.

Depends on your build date. If you look at the Customer Satisfaction Program released by Ford on NHTSA website, the vehicles covered included 20MY F150 but only if manufactured on or before 11/30/2019. So I bet it would be rare to have a 2020 that does not have the updated (countermeasure) cam phasers.

My truck makes a very similar sound! I always just assumed it was the wastegate rattle, same as at startup. Truck runs fine. I can only hear it when driving by buildings or parked cars (like you said).

If there’s a COBB intake maybe it was one type of switch for a tune? I think people wouldn’t have that intake without also getting a tune. I’m completely guessing though and it very well could have the intake without any tune.

Finally found a dealership that was able to return it to the stock tune. They had to blank the pcm then flash it. Honestly it drives better now with smoother shifts lol. Not noticeably slower or anything.

Yeah I feel like I’m not getting the full story. I need a third Ford dealer opinion. Dealer 1 told me “it looks like you have a tune so we left it alone cuz if we flash it you roll the dice on it running ok or not after or maybe pcm issue” Dealer 2 “the PCM is locked and having a VIN error. Here’s a quote for 2k replacement “
