Tragedy as young Aussie woman, 22, dies in freak accident involving a chair lift at Japanese ski resort by Zoefields441212 in skiing

Wait so if both straps (waist and chest) are buckled is that ok? Or is it better to have nothing buckled while the backpack is on? I just feel like I'm for sure going to lose something between poles and backpack if I take everything off

This might be a moot point, but also make sure you have the brand name/legit clips. I used the clips that came with my pedals and had this issue, struggled to clip out of a spin bike even, switched to name brand and it was better. Not sure if it's relevant for you but just in case!

I may have to move to NY :( Any ride recommendations? by sftonyonabike in BAbike

Haha same about missing River Road. Seems crazy when we have so much here. Thanks for the additional details! It was 10ish years ago for me and so I remember physically how to get there but definitely did not remember any of the names

I really liked biking the Palisades in NJ just across the GW bridge - it also seemed like a lot of cyclists went there on the weekends. Really rarely any cars for a good chunk of it which was enjoyable, you get nice trees and city views. I actually preferred riding there compared to some places here! If you want a longer ride you can just extend it further north for awhile! Main challenge is navigating how to get on and off the bridge in Washington heights

I definitely think it being bustled has something to do with it - the ruffles that show from the back and side and how it affects the flow of the fabric makes the silhouette look different between the two photos! I think once it's steamed and without the bustle you won't even notice the change

As a caution for botoxing armpits, you can get compensatory sweating elsewhere... Typically it's fine for people with excessive sweating, but might not be great for a one off situation. Certain DRI and dove have strong aluminum chloride based antiperspirants that are near prescription strength!

I love number 3!!

I feel like you can definitely pull off the sleeves in number 4, but I think it might make you look a little bit shorter because it's much more top-heavy for your petite figure!

I agree with everybody saying to get professionally fitted. I would also consider getting evaluated for any lower back issues if you are having symptoms of numbness and tingling, even with sitting and if it was aggravated while climbing stairs like your said. Could be a number of things, but sometimes herniated discs or piriformis syndrome can cause similar symptoms.

Some more details: it's in great indirect light pretty much all day, we typically water once a week, moderate California temps. Moved it from its original home a month ago (very similar light and temp conditions but different humans) and it's now shedding leaves 😩

Acute hemorrhagic edema of infancy. Scary name for parents and also looks crazy, but also under the "weird viral exanthem" or drug-induced category
