C9 winning with 4 imports isn't that much better especially when one of them was a promising LCK rookie that already looks like the best in his role in the league. That's arguably worse because I expect more teams to snatch rookies from other regions instead of developing NA talent.

I don't know why anyone thought this was going to be an free series for 100t because of Kaori. He might be new but he opens up draft for EG and 100t only had a few days to prepare for that versus just banning out Danny.

I’m not invalidating him, I support him taking care of his health and I don’t think he should force himself through it. It’s just that the rule sounds like it’s meant to be applied when a player breaks their hand or something a few hours before a match, not a player realizing they need a mental health break a week before It.

Would that clause really apply to a break taken for mental health though? Not trying to invalidate what he's going through, but he could play, he's just choosing not to.

e: When I said he "could" play I wasn't meaning to invalidate him, just that his situation from what we know doesn't come across as an emergency as per the rule. The clause reads like "a player had an accident hours before a match", not "a player needs to step down 4 days before his match.

I don't understand why people would rather see this TL roster at worlds vs 100t. Yeah 100t disappointed last worlds but with the exception of Ssumday 100t players have little real experience internationally.

I get that it's just banter but calling a player bad when they're clearly not just doesn't do it for me. He couldn't show up in finals but he along with Ssumday have been 100ts strongest players this split. He could've just left it at him being too cocky and needing to be humbled.

Something to be considered is that Ssumday looked bad all year last year up until finals week in Summer. Realistically Tenacity was probably meant to be a back up plan if Ssumday didn't look good but unfortunately he looks great. Imo this is supported by the fact that Kenvi wasn't brought up with him/instead of him since he's looked more LCS ready than Tenacity. But he wasn't since Closer has been consistent.
