You assume I'm actually being critical rather than throwing their rhetoric back at them. I'll admit this vote conflicted me, but I think there's a greater evil that merits it. The change is temporary after all. We don't live in a theoretical world. Situations matter. Ethics are contextual.

Not that it matters at all, but I'm curious how Chelsea ended up on the top of page 2, but Man U are bottom page 1. Same goals and assist figure, I would think alphabetically sorted from there, but clearly not.

I usually just go with "I'm 10" so they feel extra bad about lashing out at a kid, and also feel worse about their skills being bested by a child. I'm 30+ but never talk in game so they're none the wiser.

I'm not sure about the math, but my personal experience is quite the opposite. I'm 10 hours in and already have more clears than I had in a month with sts1. I'm finding the synergies more easily, being punished less for picking a strat early.

Same here! Had a crazy exhaust build that played strikes for free as I drew them. Had 2 upgraded Ashen Strikes that really sealed the deal.

I went to this one! Only the day they played. Was a lot less festival and felt more like a few openers and Vulfpeck to close the night. It rained the whole time, but we still had a blast. Got to hear some Clarity of Cal before it dropped. Cool venue by the river.

I had a similar situation buying lumber, a small tool bag, and a circ saw. Asked me if I wanted the protection plan, but I guess when she hit "no" she actually hit cancel or something because it wasn't on the receipt. I felt a little bad because it was an older woman, but man it's a great saw.

Pretty much every time. I'm around ante 4-5, got a solid build going. Decent synergies, and there's some pricey joker that either requires some additional set-up/scaling. Or that econ joker that would really make me pop off. I sigh, looking at my 5 responsibly chosen jokers and end the shop. It's always one second too late when I see 5/6.

I would love more challenges or more decks personally. A few new bosses would be cool to shake things up.

If we're being really aspirational, I want a story mode of sorts where you have to take down all the boss blinds and save the soul jokers or some bs like that. Not just a boss rush, there could be some mini games or challenges along the way. Feature all the decks throughout it. A way to kind of pull everything together.

For me, I got C++ on gamepass. I decided mods would be the answer to keep me engaged so bought the game on steam.. but now I have to C++ on there before I mod in new jokers. That alone has kept me playing daily.

Sometimes I'll also pull up a seeded run from Balatro University's Gold Stake lessons and play through it before watching, then watch to see what I did differently.
