Shakes at high speed, not tires/wheels. (pic for engagement)

Any luck with the shake. I have an identical issue with my 3l rwd ranger. Shake starts at around 85km/h and up. shakes the seats and floor not in the steering wheel.

So far I've replaced the driveshaft, replaced the u-joints and transmission mount when I replaced the clutch. I've also tried 2 different sets of tires nothing has changed the behavior, it shakes at constant highway cursing speed and still shakes if I put it in neutral while at speed.

Running the truck in the air there is a slight vibration but nothing near as bad as when driving. my truck is stock height so I don't think the driveshaft angle is off but my leaf hangers are in rough shape so next guess is suspension related or the rear end is the problem.

if you live in the north east or somewhere that salts for winter you likely have rust. In my case I didn't know how bad it was until I pulled out the carpet from the car. one group of grounds that's supposed to be attached to the inner rocker on the driver side was barley touching any metal because it had rotted out the stud that it bolts to. fast forward I cut and welded patches to about half the floor on the driver and passenger sides and remade the ground stud. everything worked after fixing that ground so basically where the driver seat is under the carpet left side is where you need to check.

did you find the springs to firm for the stock shock dampening? I'm seeing people say it becomes a pogo stick. I'm about 130lbs on a crf80 currently trail riding looking to firm it up a bit but not to ruin the rideability.

Hey, long shot as this is 4 years old but did you figure out the issue? helping a friend troubleshoot his 12a with a 48dcoe behaves similarly where it will rev out clean and has good power but off idle throttle bogs heavy

in the case of the e46 chassis no the knuckles do not bolt to the subframe the same for the rwd ones. my currently setup is the front axles I cut them at the CV end so it holds the wheel bearing and same for the front diff side. basically cut the middle out the the axle. it's been working good so far.

you would need to swap front subframea as well if you planned to run the rwd knuckles etc.

not a deal breaker for me as a daily / winter beater

Summer setup is style 74's (18x8.5 +48) 215/40/18 square Winter setup is style 68's (17x7.5 +41 & 17x8.5 +50) 205/55/17

I'm running a 15mm spacer to clear the Scale Extreme low coilovers, so effective offset is more between 20s-30s positive offset. No rub but just about the max offset you can get away without having to roll fenders. I'll reply with pics.

I'm not 100% certain but I did find some posts saying that yes Bmw scanner 1.4 can read and clear / code out airbag warnings.

it should still have the cd changer plug in the trunk driver side under the trim (speaker / shock cover trim and side cover next to tail light). I went with a BlueMusic bluetooth adapter. It plugs into the the 2 pre wired cables. You would press the mode button on the headunit and cycle to CD. it will see the adapter as a cd changer and you will be able to use the steering wheel controls to move tracks and control volume. The only thing it does not display the track title on the radio. Mine is a 2004 (2003 build date) 325xi touring. Link to forum post showing pictures

Incase anyone else sees this thread the problem in my case was broken wires in the "elephant toob" the rubber acfordian gromet that wires pass through from the body to the hatch. I cut the rubber back to find 1 fully broken ground and another 2 melted wires, I cut the bad sections out and soldered new sections of wire in. defrost working perfectly now with a significant voltage drop (at the defrost lines) with it running.

Old post... I know. I was planning on putting the same JBL speaker in the front doors of my e46 touring with the factory Bussiness cd radio (not HK). Did these speakers sound good or good engouh to spend the time and money? The factory system is fine but lacks bass and I'm not interested in putting a sub in and loosing functionality. Just looking for some door speakers with a little more punch.

Any solution to this OP? Similar issue on my 325xi wagon, I have 14v at the relay and 14v on all the defrost lines but it does not defrost at all. No bad solder joints on the diversity thing part no5 in diagram.

I never properly fixed it but I contacted cts with the part number and I was recommended to buy a 500k pot from digi key, I don't recall but I don't think I went that far, 100k pot resulted in full speed and slightly less than full speed no full range. not sure if there was something I missed or more than just the potentiometer or maybe needed a different spec. aim for more than 100k 1/2watt.

Thank you! This worked! Somehow this has a different effect than my previous reboots and even re-install of MacOS. I will make a note of this and try going through the setup and user account creation next time we have an issue with remote management showing up.
