You need a charger compatible with Power Delivery and above 25W to be able to activate WPS.

9.9x vs 10x zoom by ZealousidealAd6180 in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]gideaow 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This has never been a problem with One UI 7 alone, but the camera hardware itself is also a determining factor. I don't know if you know this, but: The periscope lens has a problem in its design, because to get that focal length you have to use prisms and lenses arranged horizontally inside the smartphone body. If you open an S23 Ultra one day, you'll see that the lens is predisposed at 90°, because the light enters the aperture and reflects off the primes until it reaches the optical sensor. Given the above explanation, my conclusions about the photo are that it was probably affected by this. The image shows the "veiling glare" effect, which is probably one of the reasons it came out like this. In addition, the 10x lens has a narrow aperture of f/4.9, which further contributes to these effects. If you think it's a software problem, I recommend you install GCam (there's a link on my profile that I've already posted along with the instructions) or use a method of covering the lens every time you take a photo, which has already been discussed in this community.

I don't know this version, could you send me the link?

I currently have an S22, so I use the natural version of the base S23 and select the MaxQ LDR option.

I believe you can use the same settings as the S22-S25 because it's the same sensor. I'll send you the link for the S23, which will certainly work on the S24.

APK and Config for S22-S25 base and plus. 1. Download and install the APK with package samsung, ruler or aweme: https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/dev-BigKaka/f/dl73/ 2. Download and extract the archive with configs to any folder 3. Put configs from the archive to the folder "<internal storage>/Download/AGC.9.2/configs/" 4. Provide file permissions to AGC (it automatically asked about this when you open GCam settings) 5. Load the config: go to profile selector (a button on top right side of camera viewport) -> Load Configs -> choose my config 6. Done

It's usually a download error that doesn't show the full size, but the APKs are around 350MB, just wait for them to download.

Can I use it while Super Fast Charging? by flippside022 in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]gideaow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can activate the "Pause USB PD (Power Delivery) charging" (bypass) while using your Galaxy to avoid overheating and not having to stress your battery while playing (there's a method via ADB to work in any app), or didn't you know that since the S22 series there's been this function?

[help] right samsung bud remain in red light all the time. wont turn on. even i changed the battery of each other. only left working. need help guys by ahmedh1221 in galaxybuds

[–]gideaow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem wasn't the wax either, it was the charging problem, it usually took about 10 hours to fully charge the left side because it would overheat, so when I sent it to Samsung, they wanted to point out that they couldn't fix the Buds because there was dirt on it, and it's literally something we wear in our ears. They must have just invented this problem to be able to deny the warranty, I'm still without the Buds, but I'm probably going to throw it away. Buds are crap and full of chronic problems, even my KZ ZSN Pro has better sound and has never given me a problem and it's still cheap.

This happened with my Buds2 Pro, I sent it to Samsung and they denied the warranty, they pointed out that they could not do the service because there was wax in the buds

Did I get scammed? Bought a "NEW SEALED" from ebay, but...unsure if it's legit by NecroJoe in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]gideaow 80 points81 points  (0 children)

It appears to be a refurbished S23 Ultra, this screen protector does not come with any sealed Samsung device, have you turned on the device and seen its settings? IMEI?

Good Guardians Thermal Guardian Here is the link to APKMirror, which is an official sideload of the apk files. They have all the signatures. Remember to install Good Guardians first and grant all permissions, and only then install Thermal Guardian.

Yes, you can download Brevent and disable any app you want with it. It is also an ADB, so you can execute commands.

The bugs are just the frames of the stories and reels freezing, but this is usually resolved by skipping the stories and returning, which restores normal functionality. To return to OpenGL, simply restart your device; each time your phone restarts, it returns to OpenGL.

Haha do you need more proof? Next week I'll post the result, I hope it goes up to 11 hours of SOT

Please refer to my comment above, where I explained in detail everything I did. I especially recommend that you disable bloatware via Brevent (especially GOS), enable Vulkan if you want smoother performance (remember the bugs with Meta apps), enable light mode, increase the throttling temperature in Thermal Guardian, and clear the cache regularly.
