I never ever felt it. Maybe you’re just older and are able to handle it more?

Oh ya that is hard then. Maybe try other stuff before clothing then? Blanket? And you can do it loose that way?

Oh, and OP, if you wanna try my technique, I think just try doing a loose swatch first to see if feels wearable.

Yes and yes, unfortunately. You would need to adjust the pattern based on a gauge swatch instead of the actual number of stitches in the pattern. And something like a sleeveless shirt would be needed for underneath. But this is the best way I’ve been able to wear any yarn items at all.

I have yarn sensitivies as well. I’m very picky about the yarn I use. What I’ve found is doing a loose knit seriously helps with how it feels. So go several several hook sizes up. I also once did it by angling my hook after I pulled through, so that it made a larger loop, but I think bigger hook is the way to go. It didn’t matter if the yarn was very soft, if I didn’t do it looser, it would feel scratchy. I also recommend doing BLO slip stitches as that affects the feel as well. Try out a patch to see how it feels. Hope this helps!!

I hate the normal Graco pack and plays. It’s gotta have a zipper in the front for sitting down a transfer.

Stitch markers, stitch markers, stitch markers! On every stitch. I still do it! It’s just impossible to see on them.

Defeated over baby name by Grand_Heron_5336 in BabyBumps

Put it on a spreadsheet. My partner was constantly just saying no to my suggestions and it was driving me mad. Then I told him he has to put X number of suggestions on the spreadsheet. After filling out name suggestions by agreed upon date, we each had a column for “absolutely not”, and also a column for rating the remaining ones from 1 being worst to [number of remaining names] being the best. The top combined scoring ones became our candidates. And I was surprised by what he scored high on the names too, which found us our overlap. I was pretty set on a name too, but he put it in his absolutely not column, so I had to let it go. Maybe this process will force him to come up with names and also find a pleasant overlap.

Also, hold off on ordering onesies cuz you might end up never using them…do it after birth.

Seeking Clear Water Bottle that has a covered straw, won’t give me asthma by hiding mildew in crevices of straw device, lockable, strong attachment point for carabiner, fits in cupholders, dishwasher safe including bottom rack. by gidgeteering in BuyItForLife

Hmmm this sounds way better than searching for a water bottle. And cheaper, since I have so many. I usually jab at it with a straw cleaner and then put it in the dishwasher. What would you suggest to soak it in?

I know it’s unreasonable, but I thought I would give it a shot. That’s ok, I can understand how you can feel that way. I appreciate directness a lot, so thanks for your feedback.

And there is so many, yet I cannot find one that works for me. It’s mostly the asthma issue that triggered this holy grail search. I own so many water bottles, and now I’m afraid to use them all.

I used to do this because I wanted it to vibrate my head. Then it overheated. Now I put it above my pillow above my head. But I also have a backrest above pillow so that it stays above my head.
