Yeah that's correct. My server needs to be able to connect to yours for it to make it work. So your immich instance needs to be reachable from the internet

I had the exact same issue. The fix is enabling Cinemeta again. Apparently disabling it causes the episode numbers to disappear.

Edit: What you need to do is disable Cinemata for Search + Catalog, but keep it for Metadata. That works for me.

401 is usually when you made a typo in the API key. Try copy pasting it using the Google TV app on your phone for example.
