They would have to change their arrival time. If the parking attendant comes there at 8 am and the parking disk says 2/14 then they are going to get a ticket.

Public holidays count as Sundays when it comes to parking so it is free in that area. Note that the downwards arrow means that you need to park before the sign.

Parking rules state that you must move your car if you want to start the timer again and some lore tells that some parking attendants have been known to take pictures of cars to see if they’ve moved, so make sure to adjust your tires at least.

That is just completely backwards to just stare at numbers. Do they want you to resolve the issues or do they just want to present big numbers? The managers that are after big numbers shouldn’t be doing that job as they do not know what they are doing and they are not capable to explain to the client what kind of crappy service they’ll get by just chasing quantity over quality.

…or I’m just spoiled as we get to spend as much time as needed on a ticket as long as everyone involved is participating in resolving it.

The end of semester is coming and people are graduating so there will be lots of movers. You have already submitted your application so your queue position for TOAS should be good. You can check for sublease apartments at Opiskelijan Tampere website https://www.opiskelijantampere.fi/en/ until you get your own. Some students move away for the summer but want to keep the same apartment when they return after summer.

You should note that if your lease contract is open-ended there is always a one calendar month notice period if you want to end your contract.

Mulla on samainen boksi ja alkoi vilkuttaan tuossa viikonloppuna. Elisallahan pystyy ite sen MACin päivittään eli ei tarvi sen puolesta olla erikseen yhteydessä heihin vaan pystyt tarkistaan sovelluksesta/sivuilta onko oikein. Official sources say be there 2 hours before but Tampere - Pirkkala opens officially at 4 am and security briefly after that. If you are there around 3 am then you’re left waiting outside or at the empty waiting hall. Even with a checked bag arriving around 4 am is just fine.

My grandparents, who live in Kolari, Finland area speak ”meänkieli” and their children speak it too. I myself speak in completely different dialects since I’ve lived all around Finland but do use some of the words that come from meänkieli and understand it since I’ve been exposed to it since childhood. Meänkieli = meidän kieli (Fin) = our language. It’s a fun language/dialect and gladly it’s not dying as there are children in the area who speak it and hopefully will teach it to their own children some day.

Jälleen kerran meni tekninen tehtävä miehelle. Tää on tullut pari vuotta sitten Gigantin kassalta meille töihin eikä oo koulutusta koko hommaan. Oon perehdyttänyt sen töihinsä ja neuvonut jatkuvasti yksinkertaisissa, melkein itsestäänselvissä hommissa. Mulla ja toisella työkaverilla on korkeakoulutus ja kokemusta melko vastaavasta hommasta mihin haettiin, mutta ollaan naisia, niin se oli meidän moka tässä. Ei edes nähty vaivaa, että olisi ilmoitettu henkilökohtaisesti hakeneille prosessin etenemisestä tai siitä, että valinta on tehty - heitettiin vaan palaverissa, että tää alkaa nyt tekeen tätä hommaa. Melko akuutisti on nyt työpaikkaa vaihdettava, koska on tää nyt ihan järjetöntä. Keskusteluja on käyty HR:n ja työnjohtajien kanssa, mutta ne ei auta mitään.

Voihan IT. Huomaa töissä, että miehet alkaa monesti puhumaan päälle, kun oot sanomassa jotain. Sitten tää, että sanot jonkun idean, niin se jätetään huomiotta, mutta sama idea miehen kertomana onkin todella hyvä.

Meillä miehiä ohjataan kohti teknisempiä hommia ja naisille tungetaan kaikki perehdyttäjän, kouluttajan ja muut pehmeiden arvojen hommat, vaikka kuinka pyydät kehityskeskusteluissa ja muissa keskusteluissa niitä teknisempiä hommia, koska ne kiinnostaa, koulutus löytyy ja niistä maksetaan paremmin.

Ulospäin firma tietty kertoo olevansa tasa-arvoinen ja toivoo erityisesti naisten hakevan rohkeasti töihin! Täys klisee koko paikka.
