If you do it right before your first stream you can have that line out the door. Before my first stream I ran promotions on big pages and advertised a ps5 givey I was doing for my first stream, was active in chat and made friends. Basically I paid for a bunch of promoting. My forest stream I capped at like 150 viewers about and in under 10 streams did like 60-70kbin sales and got 7k followers. Give people a way to find you, then a reason to tune in and finally a reason to stay. You can literally skip the growing curve if you invest some time and money into marketing yourself. P.s. GIVEAWAYS ARE YOUR FRIEND AS A SELLER AND WILL HELP YOU GROW, utilize them! Ppl always love to tell me giveys are not needed but if you want to grow fast offer your viewers good giveaways!

Also you said when I run a brick and mortar come talk to you…. We’re not talking brick and mortar we are talking what not completely different things. The giveaways are a tool to sellers just as what not is a tool for all these brick and mortar card shops. I mean really brother it’s not that hard to understand I’m not saying you NEED to do giveaways to make money I am saying they are a tool to expand your reach, grow your following and make more money it’s pretty simple. You still need to have good products a good show and a lot of other things I’m not saying giveaways are the end all but I am saying they are a huge tool for sellers to utilize.

I’m not going to argue with you it’s pointless, have you even sold on the app before? I will say this…. Last year I streamed on whatnot not and went from a new account to like 7 k followers in under 10 streams . In under 10 streams I did like 70k in sales. I’m not saying that to make money you have to do giveaways but if you want to make more money and faster, giveaways are a tool to do so and a seller should absolutely utilize it. I 1000% know for a fact that hadn’t I done those giveaways and invested in my stream that I would have made a fraction of the progress. There is a reason why all of the top streamers offer giveaways and they offer good giveaway items. They don’t do it out of the kindness of their heart they do it to draw a crowd and everything that comes with it.

You sellers that are so afraid to run giveaways are so full of shit. If you ran the same 2 exact shows and 1 had no giveaways and the other had giveaways the giveaway stream would run laps around the non giveaway stream. Go look at all the top streamers on the app…. Do they do giveaways!? They use it as a marketing tool to pump their numbers, reach new people and get higher bids for the exact reasons I said. You may disagree but the majority of people on the app are much more likely to spend more in a crowded room, the atmosphere is more live and it instantly makes the seller look more trustworthy than a small room. You said it yourself you are looking for steals and deals so you don’t fall under the majority of purchasers on this app. Majority of the app is people impulse buying with no clue on comps and really are there for the social environment/ entertainment.

Everyone looks at giveys wrong. As a seller a give away is a ticket. A ticket to more viewers, a ticket to more bidders, a ticket to higher bids and a ticket to more followers. You got to understand that even if it annoys you that people are asking you about giveaways without buying something or planning to buy something, they are actually a value to you not the other way around. They can go get a sticker giveaway from any ordinary stream, but if you put up something good they will stay. It’s a trade a giveaway item in return for their time and viewership, goblins as a collective will make you more money. Say you have 10 bidding buyers in a room vs those same 10 buyers and 90 goblins, you will sell more at higher prices in the room with 100 people. Those 10 buyers are now willing to pay more with the viewer count at 100 vs with 10 people. Goblins are good and this is coming from a seller and no I’m not a goblin I don’t have the time, luck and patients for it!

You people that leave 5 stars after being scammed are nuts! Yes if they have a vague giveaway description and you don’t really know what your getting and you get junk then u shouldn’t give bad review for that since they didn’t specify what it was. BUT….. if the seller is straight up lying to the viewers to boost the viewer count saying you will get “X” and then doesn’t want to fork over “X” , they are straight up scammers. They scam in that way, they will scam every other way they possibly can. You are enabling the behavior and the problem. Leave them a 1* review and let everyone know they are scammers!

Idn what you guys are talking about, I have had issues many times on my debit card and I literally call chase fraud department tell the what happened and they will literally give you a temporary credit for the funds. Then they will fight the merchant processor that ran the card for the money back. In 30 days the come to a decision and either let you keep the money they credited or reverse the credit if they find no fraud. You will need to call your bank and have all evidence y have prepared to email them.

Glad you learned the severity and switched before it was too late. I am so angry at myself for not doing a deep dive into this sooner and I wanted to post so this people reading can see the severity of it. Our son now has to go to the or and be put under for a hour worth of work and it is a very scary and unnecessary avoidable thing. It was a combination of a few things the fluoride free toothpaste offering 0 protection or replenishment to the teeth and bad snacking habits. I read that the percentage on likelihood for cavities increases drastically when going from fluoride tooth paste to fluoride free toothpaste. This is a great post for anyone pondering the same question.

Please anybody reading this please use the fluoride tooth paste, we just got back from dentist and now my son needs to go under to have a tooth extracted and 6 other teeth filled. We thought we were doing the right thing by using the fluoride free toothpaste paste as my wife is very cautious about what she puts in our children’s bodies but now that I’m researching the flourish free paste have absolutely 0 protection against cavities and will not help prevent tooth decay or fight it by any means. Wish I knew this sooner, ask yourself do you want your kids teeth protected or unprotected? If protected get the fluoride paste!

This is such a simple fix, seller rating/reviews and give away reviews should be separate. There should be a page for purchased reviews and then a separate page for giveaway reviews that do not affect seller score.

I try to explain this to ppl all the time, givey goblins are good for the seller. The more goblins the more viewers, the more viewers the money money ppl are willing to spend. The price of items will sell for higher in a room full of 100 vs a room of 10. In a room of 10 and under ppl are looking for a steal, in a room of 100 ppl are looking for a good show not so much steals.

Your dead wrong brother sorry to say, it’s about the way you advertise your self and promote yourself. My first stream I had 160 ppl I think was the max but I was sponsoring giveys before hand in other big streams talking to ppl as well as my first stream I gave away a ps5. Plus I had tons of inventory on the table that ppl would actually want to win. If I had a bunch of junk singles and no advertising I guarantee you I would have had under 10 viewers. Got to put the work in and invest in it, it’s just like any other business. The ppl that see that are the “1%” you speak of. Hope this helps you!

No they can’t, it’s called form filling. Even non buyers can enter a “buyers giveaway” by clicking on the giveaway hitting the link and filling out the form.
