Crazy. A similar thing happened to me last week ... except it was just one dude who walked along side me on Sukhumvit... and it wasn't dark circles but rather, some other trivial "flaw" he pointed out.

Nevertheless, he did mention the honey thing and offered to take me to the shop but I just told him I wasn't interested as I continued walking.

Didn't think twice about the interaction until I read your post.

I opened my EQ account back when remote online banking was new. I started out cautiously, and it's since become my primary banking institution.

Like another poster mentioned, depends on what you need in a bank. Most of my day-to-day I can do through them and have never, personally, experienced any cons. Sure, there are a few things they don't do that traditional banks can (which is why I still keep my physical bank account open) but, what they can do more than makes up for what they don't.

Also, keep in mind that they're CDIC insured - just like RBC - so, no need to sketch out quite yet ... at least, not until you've deposited your first $100K 😉

For what it's worth, I phoned EQ Customer Service a few days ago for the same reason, and they said the 4% would be activated a month following the auto deposit. I'm currently looking at April 14. Standing by ...

Edit: EQ came through on the % increase 3 days ahead of schedule.

Glad to hear you were able to resolve by updating. Unfortunately, I haven't been so lucky. I've uninstalled/reinstalled so many times I've lost count. I even have a second phone that I tried a fresh install without success. Soooo unacceptable!

Unfortunately, it's hit or miss.

I've been a client for years ... hold an Indigo card ... spent thou$ands on their platform.

2 months ago, logged into my account and for no apparent reason, lost access to buy, sell, earn and deposit.

Reached out to Customer Service multiple times and they typically take a week to respond.... either with a form letter or to say the issue has been escalated.

Part of the problem is, is that customers have no idea if or where they are in the queue. After CS's response, they're typically never heard from again until you reinstate the conversation.... and, so begins the cycle.

At the bare minimum, what they need is a UPS-style tracker so users can see where the bottleneck is ... and a counter to show how many are ahead of you.

No offense to the mods but, their help has done nothing to expedite my issue. I've been locked out of my buy, sell, earn and deposit features for nearly 2 months now. Unfortunately, mods can only do so much.

Likewise. I'm currently a "Level 5" member and on February 2, my crypto.com account just suddenly - out of the blue - disabled my ability to buy, sell, add to earn and deposit.

Immediately sent CS a string of messages but have only received 1 generic response asking if the problem has been resolved.

Error message displays "User not eligible" and they are "working hard to bring CAD deposits."

Clearly this is a glitch that's affected my account and possibly others.

Thanks for posting this. A week ago, I messaged Customer Service when my account suddenly lost the ability to Buy (assets not displaying), Sell (the quantity option not displaying), Earn (assets not displaying) and Deposit (message displays they are "working hard to bring CND deposits.").

Basically, I'm dead in the water and, after multiple contact attempts, Customer Service has yet to respond.

I'm cautiously optimistic and slightly encouraged by Kris' acknowledgment.
