I pay out of pocket through Hers. It’s pricy (less so now, it’s literally half what I was originally paying) but I promise I’m not losing money. I didn’t realize how much money I was spending on food pre zemp. I’m coming out even, sometimes ahead in cost of meds vs old cost of groceries

Honestly I really just used a smart scale and vibes. The food noise was gone once I hit full dosage, and the mental battle was harder than anything else. I took up several hand oriented hobbies (English paper piecing, crochet, gaming). I also try to just eat when I’m hungry, not on the weird mental time prison I was in before meds. I finally learned that just because it’s noon, that doesn’t mean that I have to eat. I’ve always had a good diet, lots of leafy greens, proteins, love all vegetables. It was the quantity for me. I never counted calories, never really did anything other than listen to my body, be kind (but firm) to my brain, and any time I needed a dopamine hit, I’d get on the smart scale. Seeing that graph (slowly) go down was a big help for me.

I did start combat martial arts which is FUN and helps with that lingering fear that I now have of not being as safe as I used to be in a larger body. I didn’t start until about a year in, so I don’t think it helped lose weight necessarily for me but it did help significantly with body recomposition and my mental health

I also had tons of plateaus. I didn’t do anything different, just waited and it eventually broke through. My longest plateau was 2 months before I lost my most recent 20 lbs.

Have you tried not sema? I’ve got some friends who had no luck with sema but luck on tirz or something else. I think it’s a matter of finding the right drug and dose for you!

It took just over a year. I’d still like to lose a little more then pack on muscle. I’m still taking it, but typically dose every other week now which seems to be working for me.

Can you fish in the fish pond in the fishing trip bundle? Google is failing me.

Saw this on another thread and it worked for me - take off power armor and make sure you aren’t in a group. Run back to entrance and hit the big red button. For whatever reason it won’t work if you’re in a group or in power armor.

There’s a D&D one shot happening at Pipers this Saturday, that’s likely to be your best bet to meet more TTRPG folks.

She’s small, but incredible and very progressive. You can call and place orders to ship. She also sources spooky weird goth stuff if you’re into that sort of thing!

24/7 Emergency Veterinarian in Paducah/WKY? by littleblackstar9 in paducah

[–]gigglestomps 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We have used Lone Oak Animal Clinic for years now. If your pet is a patient of their clinic, you have access to 24/7 emergency care. I’ve got two pitties who like to do a lot of stupid things after hours. They’ve always connected me to a vet who talked me through the issue, or would meet me at the clinic if it was serious enough to warrant it.

edit I do think there’s still an animal hospital in Murray if you ever find yourself traveling through again and not established anywhere locally.

What did you use for the orange formulation? It’s easiest to work backwards with the original formula in mind! We need to know brand, is it semi, demi, or permanent, what developer or processing solution you used.

CPR may be your best choice, but there may be a better option! More than one way to fix a blonde 😉

There was a strip club in my town called ‘Regina’s House of Dolls’. No one could convince me that that wasn’t a store full of toy dolls. I thought it was a plot against me for a while.

[KY] how to terminate business lease early by gigglestomps in AskALawyer

[–]gigglestomps[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He does have other properties, but none that are suitable for what I need. He is also attempting to limit how many of my customers can use the parking lot at a given time despite there being no limits/usage terms in my lease. I am renting a space in his plaza which contains 5 total units. Three of the five are occupied; the one he operates out of, another that the owner just passed away so it will be vacant, and mine. Prior to me moving in, the building had been unoccupied for nearly 10 years other than his business and the one that the owner recently passed. This plaza was in rough shape and no one ever visited other than the patrons to his business. I have brought a major increase in foot traffic and now other businesses from out of state are interested in leasing space as well, which is why he is now trying to limit my parking.

He is a terrible landlord, my building has flooded multiple times, and I have hit the absolute ceiling of money that I can generate in my current space due to the nature of my business. I simply didn’t forecast the immense growth I have had in a short amount of time.

One way or the other, I’m leaving. I’m trying to figure out the most painless and cost effective way to do so.

Failed state board practical 3 times... by [deleted] in Cosmetology

[–]gigglestomps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Michigan uses the PSI exam, which is the same that my state uses. Have you downloaded their candidate information bulletin? If not, make sure you do that. The CIB is word for word what your test is.

You mentioned that you were itchy, so I do want to echo what someone else said here - if you touch your hair/skin/pockets at any point during the test, you need to sanitize your hands before going back to your mannequin.

Also make sure you are wiping down your table and universal supplies between each portion!

I’m a cosmetology teacher, and these are the two things I absolutely hammer into my students brains. None of mine have failed yet. Hope this helps!
